American Standard

Reached out for a quote to convert a bath into a shower. They require my spouse to be avaialable during the quote which is a red flag for a painfuull drawn out salespitch that targets closing a deal that day. I passed and you should too. This is a bad sales tactic and is not needed.

I am so disgusted……….DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY……..
$14,000 I paid these people and it has been nothing but aggravation I called. I have been waiting one month for someone to come to put in a new bidet and fix a piece on the shower. My husband is disabled and almost fell off the seat the first day it was Installed
One month later:
the guy is here to fix the bidet so 1: he walks in with sunglasses on doesn’t take them off
2: then he tells me there’s nothing wrong with the Seat and bidet and I said oh yes it is it’s broken. The original installer said it was broken. That’s why he ordered another one. he reluctantly went and got the new one out Of his car and put it in. He Said now it’s on.
3. I showed him the piece in the shower that was loose he goes. I tightened it we’ve been tightening it since it was put up but OK
4. I said the garbage he said I’m not putting that in my car you have to throw it away,
5: the best part. I just use the bathroom the bidet doesn’t work
AT ALL. IT WORKED PRIOR TO HIM TOUCHING IT.
I’m flipping out I try to get them on the phone we’re closed due unforeseen
Circumstances
I left a message for this girl Alexis (she truly does get on phone with her customers) I said I don’t even want you to call me back I want to supervisor I said I promise you I’m going to get seven on your side and I’m gonna blow your hole organization apart. I said this is a disgrace $14,000. This is a disgrace.

We are senior citizens my husband is disabled. I gave them this money, thinking I was dealing with a reputable company and they are not. They do not stand behind their products and as far as installation I don’t know who they hire but these guys I’m not professionals it’s a disgrace, and if they do not make it right, I Call seven on your side want my money back? I want this out of my house and I want my money back.

This is a garbage company, with garbage products, and worthless warranties. Unfortunately, the house we bought has expensive Vormax toilets with flush valves that frequently fail. American Standard’s claimed 10 year warranty only applies to original owners with receipts. Buy Delta or Kohler.

Terrible! They violated contract by not being able to complete the job in timeline we agreed to. (1st rescheduled because they didn't have product, 2nd reschedule due to lack of contractor to do the job) when I cancelled due to their contract breech I was told (in writing) I'd get my deposit back. That was 6 months ago. No one returns my calls. Other times I'm transfered and disconnected. Stay away

Don’t ever have them install anything in your house. They install a damage unit in a brand new house

Bad business. I've asked them to take me off their list, I've blocked two of their numbers, and still get calls from them. Straight up harassment.

Purchased and installed a American Standard toilet on Friday Sept 4, 2020.
Toilet did not function property, so spoke to technician from American Standard Canada. Went through the list of things to do. I was told that the toliet would have be replace.
I was told that the store would not accep the defective toliet because of heath issues, ( which I fully understand), and American Standatd would send me out a new replacement on the following Tuesday Sept 8th.
Waited until Sept 11 and called again and was told it would be another week.
Called on Sept 18th was told it was on back order and would be delivered to me Sept 30th.
Called October 1, and was told it would be picked up by a courier from there warehouse on October 2nd and delivered to me the following week.

2 times I have sent emails during this ordeal asking for information on my replacement...No replies...

I have asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they would pass my message along to one to return my call.Basicly blew me off
Of course .."No call back"

The customer service rep didn't seen to care at all..

What kind of Customer service is this??????

Over 1 month to have a BRAND NEW TOLIET REPLACED.!!!!!!!!

STILL WAITING..

After 5 weeks I went back to the store where I purchased the toliet and demanded a refund,.
They asked me why I didn't get a RMA from American Standard. I told them I was never given or offered one (how should I know the porcedure).
I was given a full refund.

If I could give AMERICAN STANDARD for customer service a "0" STAR rating I would...

Toilet handle broke after 2 years, website is a mess, ordered part online but it never shipped, parts not available, etc. Junk, will never buy this brand again.

Very disappointed with American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning.
