I'm inpatient in the Boyer pavilion for 7 days and so far I'm on day five. I'm on the 8th floor unit. The nurses have been really good and overall have exceeded my expectations and are extremely attentive and kind. The food is rather terrible to be honest with you so make sure someone can bring you food from the outside unless you're not picky whatsoever however my review is based on the care itself.

My only complaint other than the food is that they don't allow children under the age of 14 to visit. I'm here for a week and I can't see my three children other than on video. They said it's because of something happens they don't have trained pediatricians on staff but that doesn't make any sense. They allow children into grocery stores and there aren't any trained pediatricians on staff, and there is literally a children's hospital next door. We cannot be closer to pediatrician's help if something goes wrong so that policy legitimately makes no sense to me. I understand maybe not allowing random children but not being able to see my own kids?

The hospital staff are very nice in this hospital. I went to visit a family member of mines and the employees were very nice to me. The nurses and doctors are very nice to my family member who is in the hospital and is a patient there.

I had a stroke and they took care of me through every step of my healing and recovery with true sincerity. I’m very grateful for all of the nurses and doctors who helped me during my time there.

This hospital is absolutely one of the worst hospital I have ever encountered, and I work in healthcare. My father had an accident and fire rescue took him to the nearest place. He was admitted to ICU and from there it all went down hill. From the nurses caring for him to the lack of communication from providers. Everyday was something new and no one care to inform the family of changes. We are very involved in his care and will be the voice for our father as he is not able to do so…. Our experience started from seeing the waiting room toilet full of feces for three days. We notified staff and no response. My father had surgery and when operation complete no provider came to update the family. We had to search for answers . The lack of respect from providers to families is unbelievable. We constantly have to ask the nurses to contact the providers to get status. Nursing care is left to be desired. We constantly get nurses that tell us they are not from that unit. NPSG.06.01.01 the use of alarm is constantly violated as no one responses to the alarms. Several times we had to go get someone because my dads blood pressure was dangerously low. I would rate this hospital as a zero but it will not allow me.

From the beginning to the end the staff does not want to recognize those who are not of minority status... THEY DON'T LIKE YOU! IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THEY DO NOT LIKE WHITE PEOPLE! What a disappointment when the staff is primarily of minority workers... SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Too busy behind the desk talking to colleagues or on their phone, so DON'T BOTHER ASKING THEM TO DO THEIR JOB THAT THEY GET PAID FOR!!!

Longest wait experience of my life. Took me two hours to see a nurse and another hour to get X-rays and seen by a doctor. Would not recommend to anyone
