St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Nice church with nice people. Love the stained glass and historical components of the building. The nursery school program is amazing. The playground is cute for the kids to play during church. Parking is good.

I am a new member to this church and I have to say I have been nothing but impressed week after week. This pastor speaks from the heart and always surprises me with his accepting nature and eye opening sermons. As a woman raised in the catholic faith where bias, judgement, and intolerance are key, it was a breath of fresh air to listen to this pastor speak. His smile and passion light the room and he is the kind of man that knows all of the members of his congegation by name. Which is not something I have ever experienced before. In my last church, when asking if it was okay for me to be the godmother of my nephew, I could hear the key strokes as the priest typed my name into a database to make sure he was receiving my weekly offering. He had no clue who I was. I love this pastor, and have very much enjoyed becoming apart of this church.

Pastor Wetzel is a great caring and respectable man. They host girl scout troops, child care, fundraisers, and reach out to aid needs of the comunity. Church services are the right mix of traditional and contemporary.

I have been coming there to church with my family already 5 weeks and think it's great. The paster and everyone else is so nice. My daughter loves church and looks forward to it every week. She likes it so much she even wrote the paster a letter this past Sunday. Thank you all for everything.
