Lincoln Theatre

The Lincoln Theater is the oldest operating movie theater in the Midwest, opening in 1921. The theater has plenty of historic charm, paired with modern image and audio quality. The popcorn is delicious and they regularly add new things to their menu. I love that they started hosting concerts, it adds a lot to the Belleville community and the auditorium is built for exactly that. The seats aren't the most comfortable and it can be a little difficult maneuvering through rows of seats in the upstairs theaters. Prices are very affordable, especially on Tuesday nights.

Unsure if they still offer birthday parties, but I attended one when I was a kid in the basement of the theater after watching a movie with the party.

Beautiful space! Lovely pipe organ! Truly enjoyed my visit. Popcorn was great. The staff was wonderful.

Bathrooms were spacious and clean.

Lincoln Theater is amazing! We have lived here for over 10 years now and was one of the first places we went as a family. With 500 seat capability in the main room the live acts seemed like you're sitting in the front row from every seat. I love the organ that comes up from the stage that was such an amazing thing the first time we went. We have seen multiple movies there, we have gone to a few of the live concerts. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff is friendly and Abe's popcorn is amazing.

It has been many years since I was at the Lincoln Theater. Just recently moved back to the area and took my Grandson and family to the movies for his 10th birthday. Great people and clean theater. Will be back to see other shows this year.

This theatre is quite nice! Very clean. I didn't take any pictures of it just as the theatre, I was there to see a Rock show 😁 Foghat to be exact. Seats were comfortable, good leg space. We decided to go back and see a movie one day.. it would be worth it!

The band Foghat was at the Lincoln theater and everything was awesome, we need more band's like that to see for some great times.

I really love the fact these is older building and still open for movies. I remember going there as a kid and now to be able to still go as an adult and take my children as well. I even like to smell the popcorn as I walk around downtown shopping. I did attach a photo of the most current movies that are playing. Will be back soon for a visit.

I love this place. It's old. It has original or close to original architecture. Prices are affordable. It's not as comfy as the newer theaters but I don't drop $60-$100 at a movie. The staffs friendly and the bathrooms are clean.

The Lincoln isn't the most glamorous movie theater, but the Lincoln has a friendly staff and the popcorn is amazing. We stop there often just for their popcorn. The Lincoln is cheaper than most other cinemas and is worth the price.

Best bang for your buck from a theater. Tickets and concessions are very affordable. Not the most comfortable seating and theaters are pretty small. Family friendly movies are a blast there.

Love the Lincoln for live music performances!!! Let's hope it continues in Belleville!!!

We saw the ClassicsIV from the 60's. Great performance and what a nice little theater.

If you are looking for an awesome old school movie feel. This is the place to go! I love everything about this theatre and you its under $30 for tickets for a family of 4 !

I love that they are doing live shoes again. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and now we bring the family. We love doing the tours with the scouts as well. (Don't lose your lid to the cup and you will always have $1 refills!)

The historic value alone is worth 5 stars. 100 years old and it is in great shape. Smack down town and just reeks of an old theater with deep roots, but up to date and still fully functional. No idea about the movies or the quality thereof, but they advertise first run movies at super cheap prices and concessions are also very low priced so a show.must be worth it. Comfortable seats on the main floor and easy access to that specialty popcorn store. Plenty of parking in the back, too. Great place for the Winter Ball!!

Main theater is great! It has a wonderful pipe organ, and gives wonderful concerts occasionally. The two upstairs theaters are less nice, but still good. Watch your head on the way up the stairs though. I can't speak to the quality of the snacks since I didn't get any.

Perfect little place and great treats. The seats are old dimensions and a few need repairs and the stairs awkward for less nimble. Never less than a good time or great value with my son. Enjoy downtown before the movie. Take home some flavored corn. Mom loves toffee caramel.

Attended The Sold Out Winter Ball with Old Salt Union and ClusterPluck! Was a fantastic time! Great staff and Music!
