The best hardware store you will come across... everyone is so friendly (especially Dina). They remember you (and your projects) by name and are always very willing to help.

I often stop at Luhrs to quickly pick up misc home repair products, plumbing etc. The woman working up front are very pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Rich is very knowledgeable and whenever I come in he is busy but always waits, then asks me if he can assist me. Usually I accept that because he helps me find the right nuts and bolts quickly or plumbing parts. Many times I explain what I'm working on and he makes suggestions on what to get and does it humbly, never implying I may not know what I'm doing. The service and expertise is always top notch carrying on the long time Luhrs friendly and quality tradition.

They always have a great selection of seasonal products, and the store is loaded with home improvement supplies and lawn care items... the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable..I'll always go there before homedepot or Lowes

Very helpful and patient staff. I just bought and installed a Vermont Casting wood stove from them. I installed it myself and Lisa and Jim were very focused and responsive on answering all my questions. Quite honestly I contacted another local business that carries the same stove brand and it took them 3 weeks to respond to my simple request for product information. If I waited 3 minutes for a response from Lisa that was a long time. Thank you

Jim and his team are absolutely incredible. I have the up most respect for this store. We purchased a pellet stove and they were helpful with getting the permitting, installing was fast and clean and prices will beat anyone around. They were hundreds less than the stove shops in Middletown. Also pretty sure they have every known bolt, screw or nut you would possibly need in store. Great store and Great people, not much more you can ask for.

Staff is friendly and asked us if we needed any help . Has a lot from lawn to cleaning supplies to any thing you need to fix up or repair in your house. And of course - paint . They had everything.

Awesome local business. Every time we go in there they are so helpful. LOVE their Benjamin Moore paint line! Seems like every charity event we attend there is a donation from Luhrs as well. So glad we can support our local businesses.

The girls behind the counter are extremely helpful and courteous. They always have what I need right in town so I don't have to go all the way to Lowe's. I actually enjoy doing my shopping here.

The staff is great and they have reasonable sales and pricing. I bought a Stihl saw from them and it was a great experience. The gentleman walked me through the whole product purchase from warranty coverage to starting up the thing outside.

I really like this hardware store. They carry benjamin moore paint which you cant get at Lowes or Home depot.

They also have basically everything you need as a home owner to take care of all the ins and outs. I dont think they sell lumber though.

The staff is very nice which is hard to come by.

Excellent, was helped immediately, had what I needed, wasted my time at Lowes, should have went to Luhr's first. 27 cent washer saved me replacing spigot.
