Fogwood + Fig

This bright and cheerful little place is a vegan food oasis in the desert for this happy vegan diner. We only visit this area 2 or 3 times a year and we always make it a point to stop in for some fresh, delicious lentil burgers and a few sides. This time, we had the patty melt and a California burger - both really flavorful. We had to rush to catch the bus (replacement for train again 😒) and didn't try the desert, but the blueberry cobbler looked beautiful and yummy. Service here is always friendly and fast. I wish we could eat here more often.

I've wanted to stop in for a while and finally got the time and opportunity today and I'm so glad for it! I'm not vegan, but after hearing and reading reviews I wanted to give it a shot. The Fogwood Smoky burger as a salad was packed full of flavors and textures that delicious and interesting. The service was excellent and friendly. The potato salad is probably one of the best I've had in a restaurant anywhere. Really delicious!

Doesn't matter if you're vegan or not, this is there place for incredibly flavorful, inventive, offerings for lunch. The desserts are absolutely amazing. This is a must stop!

My husband and I had an excellent experience at Fogwood + Fig! The food was delicious and filling with amazing flavor! We tried the Flirty Burger, the Patty Melt and a side of Mac & Cheese.
10/10 would recommend!

We also loved the atmosphere being surrounded by beautiful plants and artwork. The staff was so kind, helpful and on top of their game! I’m excited to go back soon!

I've lost count of how many times I've been to Fogwood & Fig, but each visit is a treat, especially at lunchtime. Their Reuben is a standout, but honestly, everything on the menu is top-notch. The owners are this super chill couple who've made the place feel warm and welcoming with lots of green plants and cool antique cowboy photos—I've heard they might actually be family heirlooms from a farm. Port Jervis is still getting its groove back, but Fogwood & Fig is definitely worth the trip. As a nearly 30-year vegetarian, I can vouch that this is some of the best vegan food out there.

Was really blown away everything was amazing, the patty melt was delicious and I definitely wish I got another banana oatmeal cookie it was so good!! I'm a little mad at myself for taking so long to try eating here, will definitely be back!! Staff was also super friendly and nice definitely reccomend

This fully vegan spot deserves 10 stars! Everything we tried was 10/10 and the service was great as well. The portions were good and the taste was phenomenal. Everything is so decadent yet also healthy. The pasta special was really tasty and the melt sandwich was very filling and surprisingly tasted like meat even though it was a homemade patty and not beyond/impossible. Highly recommend for all Catskill tourists and locals.

The food here is amazing, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Food does not take too long to come out which is great especially when we were a family of five just today and noticed how quick and friendly their service was with my family, we appreciate you guys….and the best part is, it’s all vegan! Everything from appetizers to desserts it’s all amazing! It’s a must try! if you have not eaten here yet, do it! parking is not hard at all to find! No excuses!

We had a lovely meal and forgot to take pics of everything. Kale salad, burger, quesadilla, Mac And cheese, pizza, apple pie. Everything was excellent. I would definitely go there if I am in that area.

If you’re looking for the best food around this city, I’d recommend this place. I have tried every burger and sandwich and none of them have let me down. The Korean burger is very flavorful, one of my favs!- You can tell there has been much thought behind the recipes here, seems like a lot of dedication to the craft of cooking but also a love for the art of it too. My most favorite is the smoky burger, or The holiday burger is divine and is on special- during thanksgiving/Christmas, I highly recommend. Today I was lucky enough to try the farro bowl, it was hearty, very delicious also huge serving I couldn’t finish! I could not say enough good things about this place, I wish I could eat here everyday. I love the staff too, they are all kind, great individuals, this city needed a place like this. Shout out to Chloe!!! <3

An absolute delight! I never tasted Vegan food this good before. Fogwood and Fig have an exceptional mushroom and lentil burger that does not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and allergy conscious- once told of an arugula allergy, they were quick to take note. They also have gluten free buns that are delicious! Overall, I would highly recommend Fogwood and Fig. If you are interested in great food at a great price, then you've reached the right place.

This place deserves a 10/10 best vegan food. Super tasty and prices are reasonable for the quality and taste. Never had a bad meal. Owners are always there and great to have a quick chat with. Pick up or sit in it’s all great. Have allergies? They will help to find you a meal that is safe for you. We eat here almost once a week.

It's my first time at Fogwood and Fig just coming from Poughkeepsie. I had Lunch and the food was really good, including their Unsweetened Iced Tea Lemon Ginger. I got Alice's BLT which had pan seared smoke salted tofu, smoky coconut crisps, green leaf, tomato, house pickled onion, roasted scallion mayo, toasted on local seeded sourdough bread. The Staff were Attentive and Friendly as well. Highly recommend for Lunch and Dinner during the weekend!

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Not vegan restaurant but restaurant period. You can tell everything is made with care, intention and thoughtfully prepared. Delicious, fresh ingredients with a lot of variety. I can’t recommend just one thing bc everything on the menu is superb. I’d gladly return to port Jarvis just to eat here again! Highly recommended.

I am honestly not really one for vegan food as a first choice, but this is really worth trying. The food is flawlessly executed, super tasty and the absence of meat is not something you even think about. Every time I have been to Fogwood + Fig I have been delighted and continue to go back for more. The staff are super nice too!

Diana & Jeff are an all star team who have taken plant based foods to new limits! The burgers and melts are so savory and each item on the menu has a unique and distinct taste! My favorites are: The Melt, the Korean Burger and Mac and Cheese!

Love this place! If you are looking for a truly unique vegan experience and fantastically unique delicious dishes you must try Fogwood + fig. Between there one of a kind food choices and positive attitudes, this is a must stop for a bite. They also offer baked goods which we highly recommend. The store is hand decorated by the couple who owns it and has some nice artwork and plant life inside. I was even treated to a new method of maintaining my own Mohawk 🤘 A must go to place in port jervis. Thank you!

One of the only places where the people are even better than the food! (And the food is phenomenal) I am a carnivore to the death and would never had even considered a vegan meal until I tried Fogwood+Fig. After a few visits, not only am I full, I enjoyed getting to know the people there and learning about vegan food culture! I’m from out of town and will be making the drive back every opportunity that I can!!!

So happy to have found this place. I had the special - tacos! Amazing flavors!!! So good i had to try the mac and cheese right afterwards… all of it was so freaking tasty! Service was great - I will be back for sure..
