Elmer's Restaurant (Coeur d'Alene, ID)

Our first visit to Elmer's and what a great surprise. Wide variety of menu items and was hard to choose. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. One of us had the chicken fried steak the other one had farmers omelet. Both were hot a good.
Can't wait to go back. The biscuits are light and very good.

Sundays are by far the busiest, but the staff was incredible! The waiter was very patient and the food was very well prepared. The price of the food, was worth the quality! Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was very much so family friendly! Thanks for the awesome experience!

Elmer's has become our go to breakfast place in Coeur d'Alene. Warm, friendly, never a wait, great service and consistently good food and coffee! Roman was our server this morning and he was awesome! Give them a try. Great alternative to long waits and inconsistent food!

Dropped by on a whim with my two daughters for some brunch and wasn't disappointed! Despite there being a few people waiting for seating, we were in a booth within ten minutes. Our server was prompt in taking our order, and after making our order my oldest wanted to know how long it would take to get out food. So for fun, we started the stopwatch and after just shy of 11 minutes, hot food was delivered to our table!

Everything was cooked to perfection, and my usual request of "well done hash browns, but not crispy" was excellently fulfilled.

Had a great experience overall and will definitely be back!

We were in town and stayed at the Quality Inn right next door to your restaurant, very convenient so we stopped in for dinner! The atmosphere was great as was the service along with food, returned the next day for lunch! Once again the service was fantastic, our waiter (Elmer) Roman was very personal and his service was fantastic as was our meal! Overall our visit to your Restaurant was FANTASTIC! Keep up the great job that that your staff is doing, I credit this to excellent management! I myself spent 35 years in food service, most being at Sizzler Steakhouse! In my years of experience I discovered that if you have great working management skills, your staff will follow! Keep up the amazing job that you and your staff are are giving! GREAT JOB! Great Breakfast place!! Right near the freeway and costco gas. We had a lovely waitress and staff were all professionals. The food was delicious. I had the Crab benedict w/ sauce on the side. Real crab! Eggs cooked perfectly, great coffee! Bathroom was spotless for all those who want to know. Must visit

This is our “go to” place when we’re on the road. From Oregon to Montana and back again we stop knowing we’re going to get a very good meal. The servers are always so friendly and today we even had a chance to chat up the owner.
Easy access off the interstate, don’t miss the opportunity. 5 Stars all the way!!!

best local breakfast I've had in a long time. excellent service from Sarah! my chicken fried steak was surprisingly good and mom's strawberry waffle looked really good with huge strawberries. definitely recommend.

Food is amazing! I got the strawberry French toast and it was amazing. The place was busy but we got a seat in under 10 minutes. We will return!

The service we receive here is always wonderful. We've never been able to show up outside of an hour before close but have always been greated with smiles and really good food that is reasonably priced. Willow is a great face to the friendly place and develops great rapport with children treating them to special hot cocoas. If we're in the neighborhood, we'll go back.

We had the pleasure of trying this place out. Crystal is a great server we loved how welcoming she was. You should definitely try Elmer's out. Portion size was worth it. Customer service worth it. Atmosphere worth it.

Melissa is a phenomenal worker. Her hard work shows as she walks around and communicates with each table while in times of busy atmosphere. Food was great so thank you to the cooks for the delicious meal.

I really enjoyed my breakfast here for 2 days straight with my husband. Its my first time as well and my only regret is not knowing this place sooner. I absolutely loved the chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly and all the flavor was of proportion. I cannot wait to come back here next time! Its insanely good and the servers that assisted us were very kind and hospitable. I forgot their names but they really did a good job.

Perfect! We are always warmly greeted and escorted to our booth. Every waitress has been the model of decorum. Never had a bad meal. Try to have breakfast there once a week. Our place of choice!

Food tasted amazing, syrup was thick, fruit was fresh, sausage and bacon had great flavor, steak was cooked perfect and tender, large portions for a decent price. Had fast and friendly service only wish they would have kept our glasses filled.. atmosphere was clean, calm and relaxed. All around was a great experience.
