We were in Philly for a convention and ate here before heading back home. It was great!! The service was excellent. Very friendly. We ate pollo guisado Carne de res pernil and a mofongo de queso. We also got white rice with beans and tostones. Everything was delicious and they give u a good amount of food. We all got a limonada and it was so good. Would definitely come back here when back in Philadelphia.

Absolutely delicious pernil, tostones, and rice. Sitting near the wall of plants with the music playing made for a perfect meal. I never remember to take pictures before I eat, so this picture has 1/3 of the food gone and I'm already delightfully full.

My Dominican friend Manny took me here to experience Dominican cuisine. Service was phenomenal. Everyone was pleasant and warm and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. We got two whole fish each. They were battered and fried to perfection. The natural juice and lemonade were both delicious. I had some yellow rice and poured some beans over top. I will definitely be back. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place!!!!

This is *the* Dominican spot in the area. Everything from the staff to the decor and music to the amazingly delicious food makes me homesick.

I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for legit Dominican/Caribbean food. Also great for families, given the combo plates and the portion sizes.

Come through!

If you can forget the drab appearance, the food is really good and authentic!
I had ropa vieja with yellow rice, black beans and plantain. Excellent.
My friend enjoyed the pulled pork as well.
And guess what, the police eat there and like anywhere in the world, it is a great sign for good food. They know their city and they have the choice!
If you like creole food, go there.

This is my favorite restaurant in Philly PERIODT! The food is sooooo god tier like god bless the people working in the kitchen bc parada maimon doesn’t miss. The inside atmosphere is also a vibe all the plants and the way the place is painted gives a carribean vibe and the man who serves the food and does the register is very personable. Everything on their menu is amazing I always recommend this place #1 Dominican food in Philly period

Great Dominican spot 2 blocks off vine st. Went in here close to close and the man at the counter was very friendly and walked me through their menu. I went with the chicken daily special and it was delicious and a great price. Great experience all around and will be back!

Amazing authentic Dominican food. They dont use Goya Sazon, they use real ingredients and spices and it shows! best Dominican food I've ever had.

Thursday lunch special was baked chicken - juicy and fall-off-the-bone tender. Highly recommend the fresh-squeezed juice.

Food was amazing! I had my go to Dominican Place back in the Bronx, NY. I accidentally stumbled upon this place when visiting the rail park. So glad I found it, I am sure I will be back, and tell all my friends about this place. We love food! AND! They also have an outside eating area that has a rustic look, which I love.

Food all tasted good and the value was great. Service was also very nice. You can get a good dinner for 2 for $20 and maybe even less. Fried Plantains were very tasty.

One of my favorite spots in Philly, $10 for a huge portion of rice, beans, plantains, meat and small side salad. Big enough for 2 full portions and all the protein options are amazing. Cannot recommend enough for a weekday lunch or dinner.

The food was delicious, tasteful and flavorful. The atmosphere had a great feeling with clean tables. The speak Spanish and English if you don't speak Spanish to order. The menu is written in both languages for everyone to place orders. You can order on Door Dash also.

Stopped in for dinner before a show across the street. Best baked chicken I've ever had, my brother had the fresh red snapper. Amazing all around. I will be going out of my way to come back.

Authentic Dominican experience; felt like I was back home. Loved the food, service, music, ambiance and aesthetics. I’m from the region where the owner is from and can say that this place really brings the vibes. Love it and would definitely recommend.

If you are looking for the real taste and experience of Dominican food, I highly recommend this place. They have a wide variety of options and the atmosphere transports you to the island. This is an independant establishment that was unable to bounce back to its original popularity after Covid and it deserves more recognition!
