Awesome customer service! The owner of the store helped my dad fill out paper work to transfer a firearm from another owner, and was all around very friendly. While I was looking around, they have a great selection of firearms! All at different price points, but seemed very worth it too! If Im ever looking to buy a rifle or handgun anytime soon, I'll definitely be shopping here myself!

I've known Bruce and his shop many years....always went above and beyond even with a phone call...if you don't like this place your definitely way off base.

I've read the previous reviews (both good and not so good), star ratings and concerns. I can only share my observations and experiences (plural). Yes, the shop is small compared to the monster in the next county but if you look around, there is no shortage of quality new and used firearms and all at prices commensurate or better than the industry trends. You may find something you want on one of several internet sites but by time you pay shipping and additional credit card fees, the bargain advantage is history. But you need to take the time to walk around the shop and see all that there is. The same goes for optics, accessories and ammo. Unless you're looking for 43 Egyptian or Maynard rimfire ammo, just ask. Its probably tucked away where either Bruce (owner & gunsmith) or Ray (Sales assistant) knows exactly where it is. As far as being unfriendly, I did not find that to be the case. To the contrary, Both individuals were friendly and highly knowledgeable. You need to appreciate that this is a licensed firearm dealership with stringent ATF standards by which they have to follow. Observations of potential customers may speak volumes about their true intentions for visiting Hemlock. We live in a very unique time where society has taken on a new persona (mostly not good IMHO). Walk up to the counter and ask questions. Just my two cents.

Great selection of firearms and firearm related products! Recently bought a pistol there, the service was great and they are very knowledgeable. This will definitely be my go to gun store for future purchases.

Great place, Bruce is fantastic, can't beat his skills as a gunsmith, he's knowledgeable and friendly, if you have any questions about guns he's the guy to go to. Prices are great, don't even look for another gun store go to Hemlock, don't mess around with Wallenpaupack go to Hemlock.

It is worth it to buy from this store just to have the chance to pick the owner's brain. Bruce Chandler is a walking encyclopedia on guns, and has always given me five star service whenever I walked through his door.

The owner stopped what he was doing to help me. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
