St. Tikhon's Monastery Bookstore

I was blessed to seek the counsel of one of the priests tending the bookstore and he directed me to several incredible books which I am voraciously working through as we speak. There are books for everyone from the novice layperson to the aspiring theologian, with texts for learning Liturgical Greek, Byzantine chants, choir direction, iconography, and more. They brew delicious coffee and have a reasonable collection of icons, prayer ropes, crosses, Liturgical items, anointing oil, candles, incense, and handmade goods. If you can make the pilgrimage, I highly recommend it.

The St Tikhon’s Bookstore has a very large selection of books as in Philokalia, Church Fathers, Writings and Sermons of Saints, Books relating the Life of the Mother of God, Writings of Current Living Saints and Church Fathers, Book of Psalms and way more.
It is such a welcoming place where one can surely find peace, knowledge as well as making significant friendships in Christ. The coffee section has a variety of choices and it is self service. One can order online from their wide selection. My favorite is the Christmas Blend. It is quite aromatic and brings warmth of heart and joyous delight. You will come across of the monastery’s seminarians and priests who are so hospitable and ready to serve. You can discuss matters of spiritual nature with them and learn even things that will enlighten your life’s path to salvation and earthly guidance. I bought a cross and one of the fathers blessed it right there.
The museum is right above it. So, take the opportunity to visit as it is quite memorable and will fill you with the grace of those holy fathers who lived and served at the monastery.
Many pilgrims who come from all over the world find consolation, guidance and are blessed by miracles happening at the monastery.
It is so important we support such God given community that will make our lives always meaningful, prosperous and blessed.

A great place to satisfy your spiritual hunger. There is a coffee shop, also. In the warm months they have delicious ice-cream. If you are blessed, you can speak to a priest or monk that happens to be there to answer any of your questions.

The book store is based on orthodox religion very helpful staff! They also make there coffee which is definitely delightful. If you are looking for some quiet time visit the church at the monastery and also gorgeous trails that you can walk.

I love this space. Great people, wonderful books, and atmosphere. There is space to sit and read so you are able to make the best selection. Not only is there a great selection of books published by their press but there is a wide variety of other publishers and editions. Icons, coffee, incense, vestments, music, books, books, and books, jellies, honey, jewelry and more. Kindness and compassion abound. A real focus on patristic theology - historic and contemporary! A must visit spot.

Beautiful grounds, the Church was magnificent..and the fresh roasted coffee was perfect.

If you are looking for books on theology, Orthodox religion, Saints or want to pick up jewelry, icons, incense or candles then this is the place for you. As a treat they sell ice cream and coffee. Afterwards you can walk the monastery grounds and just relax.

Beautiful grounds. Orthodox seminary with bookstore. Great coffee, beans roasted on site. Quiet, contemplative. Bookstore also sells religious items and icons.

We had a great tour of all the artifacts in their Museum and they roast their own coffee which tastes wonderful

This is holy place where you can feel the angels amongst you. They also have the most beautiful crosses.
