Beautiful location to practice traditional Orthodox faith. The grounds have many mosaics, chapels, paths, and green spaces to enjoy. Services are beautiful with an amazing choir. Their seminary is a great place for interested people to learn about the history and traditions of the church. It's a great place to visit and feel peaceful.

The most surreal place. Miracles do happen here. I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in March of 2016. A friend mentioned to me the monastery. I cane here first time in April of 2016. At my first scan after that there was no sign of cancer in my body. I had a 25% chance of survival. It’s been 7 years and I am still cancer free.
I adore this pms E. The energy, the prayers, the clergy, everyone here makes me feel alive, happy and well. God is the healer. Your prayers will be answered here if you believe and come here with an open heart. Amen. She came here and

Beautiful place. We were visiting a friend near by, and he told us it was possible to go into the church. OMG! It's magical, I'm not orthodox, but I definitely felt welcomed.

We stopped by briefly as we were passing by a couple of years ago..as I walked the grounds I felt for the first time in my life that I was home. I haven't forgotten that feeling and can't wait for the day we can go back!

Glory to God for being blessed by the presence of divine presence through this most humble, graceful and holy community, beginning with the Abbot Fr. Sergius who is a men of profound wisdom, meekness and apostolic zeal.,And the entire monastic community, seminarians and their families who now have a garden of children 65 when counting. Every single one comes from different background, culture, country and yet there is an extraordinary harmonious being among them all. It is a place of unceasing prayers filled with love for God, all human kind and creation.
One of my family members is buried there and my grieving soul finds consolation from the unceasing prayers of the monastic community as well for for the departed.
I red a few reviews that were written during Covid time. One must bear in mind that our faith will be always put to test by God and how easy we may become judgemental. If we have driven 3 hours to venerate a miraculous icon dwelling at the monastery and didn’t manage to do so for one or another inconvenience, we cannot and must not blame the monastery. It is Faith that perform miracles!
When the Centurion asked the Lord to heal his servant who was far away, the Lord still healed the servant. It is faith that counts, no matter the distance from a physical sacred place or person.
Glory to Jesus Christ for His Living presence in this holy monastery! Amin

Truly worth a pilgrimage. We drove up from the DC area for a weekend and stayed at the monastery guest house. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a treasure with a rich history, including the attached seminary. The choir is fantastic, the abbot is warm and welcoming, and the grounds are teeming with loving families and children of all ages. The reliquary inside the church is truly impressive and we were fortunate to be able to venerate the icon of St Anna also. The bookstore is awesome, and the museum is not to be missed. A wonderful place to detach from the world, it was difficult to leave. God willing, we will return!

Father Stephen was most welcoming and very gracious with his time during our visit. He gave us a tour of the little museum and church, which are absolutely stunning and beautiful beyond words. He was a delight to talk to and I learned a great deal from him. I strongly recommend a visit to the monastery.

First Orthodox monastery in America founded by St-Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow. Must see if interested in history, Orthodoxy, or theological education. Don't forget visiting a museum, a bookstore and buy a pack of good coffee....
