This park lies on Dingmans Creek and has a series of waterfalls easily viewed from the trail. Some degree of elevation to deal with, after all they are waterfalls! I believe the uppermost portion is wheelchair accessible. Can be crowded on weekends in the summer.

Child's State Park is a true gem, offering a tranquil escape into nature's beauty. During my visit, the majestic waterfalls left me in awe. The well-maintained trails guided me to breathtaking viewpoints, where towering falls gracefully plunged into picturesque pools. The serene atmosphere provided a much-needed respite from the chaos of everyday life. Child's State Park and its awe-inspiring waterfalls are a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat. When we're not selling real estate, we love to explore Pike County's natural wonders, and Child's State Park is an absolute marvel worth experiencing.

Pick a day after a heavy rain and the waterfalls are spectacular. We visited in early April 2017. Childs Park overall is lovely with easy parking and a simple path with nicely done steps to see the stream and all 3 falls. Really worth the visit.

Great park! Trails and waterfalls are very nice! Gives opportunities to customize your hike making it easier or more difficult by continuing the path or swinging back around.

Beautiful trail. Got here around 3pm and there was plenty of parking. Its probably more crowded during the summer. This was my first hike and it was pretty easy. There were a few waterfalls on this trail, they were small but still very pretty. Great weather for hiking now. Bring some sandwiches and grab a quick bite by the waterfall. There are no trash cans so take your garbage with ya!

Just GO. NPS purposely leaving this wonderful place closed is like holding natural beauty hostage for political gain. They want a national park so they have more money to control their public land. Stolen land let's not forget. Go enjoy the free land before they charge an admission fee!!!!!!

One of the most beautiful hiking spots! Multiple water falls, fun adventerous trails to explore. Easy enough for me and my mother to navigate through. Some really pretty views. Definitely recommend to anyone just looking for an adventure, beautiful views, or a place to take the kids. There are lots of steps and hills, but it was a fun little challenge.

Lovely and easy hike through the woods, weaving through a small stream and charming waterfalls.

The park is clean and well paved for the beginning. Then it turns into an easy trail that can be circled around in about 1 hour.

The waterfalls are pretty. They are not huge, but lovely. Bring a little picnic, sit off the trail and enjoy a family fun afternoon in the woods!

Since the recent storms and the ground being saturated, many trees have fallen, dangerously impeding access to this beautiful representation of nature. Unfortunately, the Delaware Water Gap Park Service has closed the area. This park and waterfalls are without a doubt one of my most favorite places on Earth. It's calm and peaceful sanctuary are unmatched to any other in this area, in my opinion. I love it here. And they've done such a great job reinforcing the trails and building handrails and steps where possible. I just hope they can get in there to remove the fallen trees that are blocking the paths. Well worth the drive up 209.

Amazing park, 3 very nice waterfalls, a few miles of excellent hiking trails, and a couple spots to actually go swimming!! They supply a nice amount of picnic benches, just make sure you bring your own garage bags, there's not many yeah cans, also there only restrooms are in there parking lot.
