Walmart Vision & Glasses

I don't go often but when I do go I always seem to have a fun time. Today was no exception, I was one of the first patients the doctor saw and between the doctor and the other gals that were working, we had a lot of laughs, some good talks and all around it made for a good morning. My appointment a year ago the doctor said I was on the cusp of needing bifocals and to come in when I've reached that cusp and today was that day and we just giggled about it.

Giving this place 5 stars only because of the lady that was working on Sunday the 3rd of September. The poor thing was there all by herself with multiple people waiting for her to open the store. She was working from noon until 5PM, alone, without any help and was still extremely pleasant to work with. Maybe that is one of the reasons why the phone doesn't get answered as so many people complain in their reviews.

My experience at Walmart Vision Center, Carlisle was so much more than I expected. I has some preconceived notions because of reading the review about the office being hard to reach but, decided to give it a “go”. I’m so glad I did!
I was kindly greeted by Michelle and given preliminary paperwork to fill out. Dr. Arnold thoroughly evaluated my vision needs and made a few proactive suggestions in caring for my aging eyes.
I am grateful for she and her staff for attending my vision needs. They helped me feel as if I was their priority while I was in their presence. I’m not from the “entitled” generation so the fact that I didn’t get an answer on my first phone call only proved to me that the folks working there were caring with other patients needs…as they cared for mine.

Sherrie is the best. Her customer service is at the top I've ever dealt with. Straight shooter with lots of experience and advice. I always look for her when I have a problem out of all the places in the county. I always walk out feeling like a winner 🏆

Brandi was very nice and kind and knowledgeable . She answered all my questions and gave her opinion on which glasses looked best. She didn’t make me feel rushed when picking a pair.

Was at Carlisle Store and the tech fixed my glasses. Replaced the screw. Please note I was at my optometrist office and they told me my the arms to my frames were stripped and screw wouldn't hold.

My whole experience with Walmart Vision center was a pleasant and a very good vision test. Got my glasses already and they are right on point. Thank you .

Dr. Albert was the only one able to get rid of my migraines and got me into contacts after I thought I couldn’t.
The ladies in the center are the sweetest and helpful.

Brandi was very helpful and strongly refer her to friends.

Very helpful to solve a vision problem that I have had the last 30 years.

That no one else could solve

I personally do not recommend this location. They do have a sign inside the vision center stating that this location has an independent optometrist. What I mean by that is that they don’t care since they are not part of Walmart. My experience here by the optometrist was absolutely the worst, she was not only rude but she did not care whatsoever about how she was treating her clients, also the staff lack carisma and friendliness. Will not be returning to this location. The selection on glasses was not very good did not have very good brands.

No wonder this places has awful reviews. I scheduled this appt a month ago and gave my insurance information at that time. They call me the day before my appt to tell me that the doctor doesn't accept my insurance for the exam. WHAT? NOW? You didn't know that when I made the appt? Then I ask, since I'm not able to come in for an exam can they at least give me a SAMPLE until I can get scheduled elsewhere? I figured since they just wasted a month of my time that I could have been scheduled elsewhere and they're telling me the day before they would be accomidating or understanding? Nope. The samples belong to the Doc, since she hasn't seen me, she would not give me one to tide me over. I mentioned getting a copy of my script from my old doctor (contact RX is only from last year) nope. Well, F*&% me huh?

I went today to get my glasses fixed because they were too tight literally felt like they were squeezing my brain. And the guy so-called "Fixed" them and came back home and they still hurt. Glasses shouldn't be a pain to wear. Now I'm on the phone and they put me on hold and only GOD knows how long I have to be put on hold. Seriously these people obviously have no idea what they are doing here. I'm definitely going somewhere else next time.

Bad experience with customer service. I tried calling the vision center as well as another review stated - no one answered. The main store said they were open and someone was working but still no answer. What is all that about? If you don't want to work. Then stay home. Currently calling to report to the corporate office.

Rather rude people working. Was told insurance lapsed and they couldn't help me. Big shocker insurance wasnt lapsed. Maybe we should worry more about customers then eating with your guest....

Terrible service. Called several times and no one answers the phone. I even called the store's main office and someone answered twice and kept transferring me to the vision center where no one would still pick up. I would give a -5 if it were an option.

Tried to order 6 months for each eye, even repeated myself to the lady taking my order. Recieved 3 months for one, six for the other. Super useful Walmart.

Customer service is none existent. I get that this is Walmart so shouldn't have the highest expectations but there have to be people who work in the vision department no?
