Las Chavelas

It is actually roomy when you get inside. They had gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. We were happy with the food portions. We made it there for the lunch menu and ordered two entrees that cost us $26.00 with a soda to drink. The waitress was polite and I never ran out of drink. The portions were great and they refilled the salsa and chips. We are very happy with this location.

This place has been here for many years and has always been delicious. Las Chavelas is one of the best bargains in town for the amount of food you get. Plus you get unlimited chips and salsa. The servers are helpful and kind, too.

Very nice and authentic Mexican restaurant. Friendly and prompt waiting staff. Clean facility nicely located with adequate parking. The “hot” salsa is not too hot, so worry not ;)

Las Chavelas is a staple in CDA! I’ve been coming here for years! Literally everything on the menu is delicious! Vanessa does an amazing job running the place. It’s the best family owned and operated restaurant you can support!

It's our first time to visit and dine in here at Las Chavelas. My spouse treats me for our first Mother's Day. We ordered 1.) Fajitas Carne Asada and 2.) Fajitas Quesadillas in Chicken. They gave us a free warm Nachos with Salsa. They gave 2 (two) salsas one isn't spicy and one is spicy however the one that is spicy isn't really spicy for us. The Fajitas Quesadillas in Chicken is superb. Super cheesy and scrumptious. My spouse gave it 10 out of 10. Good serving size and serve really hot and authentic Mexican Food Style. I ordered Fajitas in Beef and I love it too. Perfect serving as well, beef is tender with a side of very very good guacamole. The guacamole is super creamy delicious. They'll give you a plain sour cream on the side. These 2 food orders we ordered are a must try. Especially the Fajitas Quesadillas. This place is a must visit and recommendable food.

Food has always been fantastic here. It's a small restaurant but doesn't feel cramped. It's cozy and the atmosphere is very nice, and the service is great. I like that they have options for people who are vegan/vegetarian, and last night when we ordered from them on doordash they threw in a big bag of chips for free--score! Thanks for that!

We LOVE Las Chevelas!! We recently brought a large party last minute (with 4 birthdays mind you) and they couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly!! The food is amazing!!! This is a favorite spot for us!!

Absolutely the best Mexican food you will find! The food is fairly priced, and always has the freshest ingredients. Not only is the food amazing, but they have wonderful service.

We love coming here. Absolutely the best authentic Mexican food in town. We eat here almost every time we come to cda. The employees are all so very kind and patient taking orders. We've never had a bad meal here.

The service was top notch. Food was delish and served pretty quick. The owner walked around and spoke to customers and it was great to see an owner take pride in his restaurant.

They are known for their crunchy deep fried tacos which are bomb and their tamales are big and delicious. Good rice and beans too! Service is always good.

The food was large amount. Get what you pay for, rare now. Service was the best we have had in years.

Las Chavelas catered for How Much More’s valentines dinner theatre event on February 10th and the food was very delicious! Would love to come visit the restaurant in person one day whenever I’m in the area. (Also glad that the meal was gluten free, which is helpful for me.)

Best Authentic Mexican food in CDA. That is absolutely the truth!
I recently found this place and it is fantastic. Family owned and all servers are wonderful, and so on top of their job.
