Gordon was so amazing with dealing with my heavily color damaged hair. He was kind and listened to everything I wanted while also allowing insight into my hair. He was incredible!

My friend gave me her hair appointment with Ashley because I haven’t had a hair cut in three years, I’m postpartum now and my hair has finally quit falling out but was such a mess.

Ashley was absolutely amazing! She did a phenomenal job on my hair and made me feel so comfortable and really pampered me. I have some bald patches from postpartum hair loss and horrible split / damaged ends. I wanted to keep the length that could be saved and maybe add bangs to hide my new growth. Ashley eloquently and gently explained what she thought would be a good route for my hair at this stage in life. She was so kind and courteous in explaining what would look best and help hide the areas I wanted hidden.

She was very gentle (not once did my hair get pulled or tugged) and she was efficient. The appointment flew by and she was so personable.

My hair has never felt so healthy that I can remember and I look forward to seeing her for my next cut - which will definitely have to be far more regular than I had been getting done.

10/10 recommend seeing Ashley for your hair needs whatever they may be.

Olivia is awesome. She is thorough, kind, professional, one of the best stylists I've ever been to. My husband even said this is the best anyone has cut my hair. She DEFINITELY knows what she's doing. Everyone knows when you leave the salon your hair typically looks amazing so i thought i would share these photos taken days after and hours after i washed it. Heather did an amazing job on my haircut! We cut about 10 inches off and went for a whole new style. She was very aware of not taking my hair to short but also giving me something that would work with my hair type. She did amazing! I love my haircut! And I will for sure be back!!

Gordon gave me my first hair chop post COVID quarantine and did such an amazing job. My hair is healthy and happy again, everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the salon was a welcoming and clean environment. Best of all, I finally feel like me again! Highly recommend an experience here ❤

Stylist Heather is wonderful. I had a perm, cut and style and she did it perfectly. I've had a lot of perms done over the years and Heather did one of the best. She listened to what I wanted and did it beautifully. She knows what she is doing and it shows. She is personable and professional. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend her.

I'm always nervous to get my hair done at a new salon but I will definitely be returning! Ashley did a WONDERFUL job with my hair and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I called around 4:00 to see if I could get my eyebrows waxed and they got me in ASAP! I was greeted when I walked in and had a seat in a nice comfy chair and lobby. (Since I’m in my 20’s a lot of places tend to by pass me as a normal customer or don’t think of me to be serious or treated different) Heather was my stylist and she came up and greeted me and took me back! I had a great brow experience especially for someone who is super OCD and specific about my brows and she listens to every step!! Definitely am going to return to her!

I love all of the employees at the salon. They are friendly and communicate very well with their customers. They are always full of smiles, offering ways to help make your visit more comfortable. They do an amazing job with cuts and colors and their nail work is top notch.

I just had the Spa manicure from Christina and not only is she a skilled nail technician but hey customer service is outstanding. The salon is lovely and the receptionist was equally friendly. The Spa staff were very professional. I didn't hear any gossiping. The salon was clean. As a customer service professional as well, it was so wonderful to experience such high quality service. I really liked my time at Essence Salon. I was really well received by the staff and Heather was very professional and so nice, she did exactly what I asked. The prices are super reasonable and on the cheap/inexpensive side considering other places I have visited previously. I highly recommend this salon.
