Dr. Daniel C. Lai, MD

Great experience, the doctor was very patient, kind, and took the time to explain in layman’s terms. Normally our toddler won’t let anyone near his ears, but she was so gentle that we were able to do a full hearing exam.

Daniel lai is one of the worst doctors I've ever experienced he made me wait 8 months then until the week before the surgery he canceled and told me to go elsewhere so I filed a complaint to the insurance my last appointment we had with him was very worthless he didn't even explain anything about the surgery he didn't even look at us while talking, he was not even in there for 2 minutes and was trying to give him the wrong antibiotic that he was allergic to he needs to get work on social skills. my son suffered for 8 months after he canceled the surgery i took him to Erie everything was fantastic. I wouldn't take my animal to him!

A 9 year old is currently in the ER bleeding and puking up blood after a tonsillectomy. All night they tried to get a hold of Dr. Lai. He didn’t answer his phone. Finally, they try his office in the morning right when they open and they say he’s off for the day and he can’t be bothered. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor that actually cares.

UPDATE: She is being transferred to Erie by ambulance to see an ENT there.

I understand everyone is human and needs time away from work but be a professional and have someone else on call to help with emergencies. NONE of his offices have an emergency number set up and the paperwork just says to call 911 in case of emergency.
