Had the most amazing experience at Ignazio's Greenwich today with my mom and daughter. I came from New York because I had an eyelash appointment at Lilians Eyelash, who was also amazing.
I had 15 minutes to spare before my appointment and we decided to grab a few slices to go. I walked in with my daughter and we were greeted right away. The entire staff was very nice & accommodating. Instead of taking a slice to go, they sent us to grab mom who was waiting in the car and welcomed us in to stay.
We ended up getting more pizza bc it was that good! I was so sad when I had to leave for my appointment. My mom and daughter ended up trying the meatballs and spaghetti as well, which was highly rated by my 4 year old, which is a big deal! LOL
The most Impressive was the lady with curly blond hair and glasses (my mom says her name starts with a V) She made sure they were good the entire time. She found out my daughters birthday was recently and gave her a Happy Birthday balloon and a few toys. I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for treating us with such kindness and care.
We will be sure to stop back in whenever we’re back in town.

After several visits here I felt compelled to write a review.
This is the best pizza/restaurant I have ever been to.
Tasty crusted pizza , fresh crisp salads and delicious meatballs were just some of the items I selected from their menu.

Noteworthy in my opinion was their COVID consciousness. The guys that made the pizza wore gloves in addition to masks. This made me feel safe.

The staff is very friendly and courteous . You will feel like family:)

Try them , you won't be disappointed!!!

17 years in the service industry and I can tell you the Exceptional service from Ignazio's staff and management is first class and the quality of their product, second to none. Premium soda made with pure sugar cane, and coffee soda I would have missed had the friendly staff not educated me on what's available. Pizza was perfect, and now I know the best place to get a slice on the avenue. A+. Will be back soon.

Stopped by tonight for a Sicilian slice after hearing rave reviews from a fellow pizza fanatic... it was delicious and definitely lived up to it's reputation! (and I just got a slice heated up to go... I could just imagine how good the whole Sicilian pie is hot out of the oven!) Crisp buttery pan crust, light & fluffy inside, excellent sweet tangy sauce, fresh mozz & basil.. I highly recommend it! More so, the hospitality of the owner, Louie, his daughter, Mallory, and their team was so incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in... the fact that I know them by name now after my 1st visit lays testament to that! Bonus points for their covid-safe super spaced out tables both inside & outside front porch!

I have just heard about its opening and I thought any restaurant that is brave enough to open during the pandemic deserves a test order. We had "the pizza" with a ricotta addition and it was absolutely delightful with generous amounts of ricotta. Large size can feed 3-4 people easily.

Had a few meals here and every time the pizza is absolutely delicious, super generous wine pours, and amazing service! Definitely worth a visit!

I must say this pizza is delicious..a must try if your in the Greenwich area..you wont be disappointed in the food and the great hospitality of smiles and comfort..Good food and Good People..

A superb classic NY pie

Just ok. Would not recommending dining in, service is very slow (>30 minutes to get our food).

Ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer for $11 and it was very overpriced (had an olive on top of each with a bit of bread crumbs and cheese stuffing)

We also created our own large "meat lovers" pizza of meatball, fennel sausage, and bacon. All of them were just...ok at $4 per topping.

For the pizza itself, the crust was a bit weak and could not hold together toward the middle of the pizza, and the sauce was again...just ok.

Poor service over cooked pizza not worth it .move on
