Do not miss this great shop! I love coming to this store every summer when I visit Flathead. Everything in there is made in Montana, very unique indie designs and no mass produced “souvenirs” that you might see anywhere. I just picked up a vintage style paint by number of Flathead made by a local artist that I am very excited to get started on!

HandMADE Montana was on my list of must-visits before I even got to Polson and it did not disappoint! Three years later it’s still my favorite shop in the area. A wide variety of functional, fun, and beautiful art from over 100 different local artists. It is clear that the collection is carefully curated to be modern and have broad appeal. You’re sure to find something for you and gifts for many.

I love everything I’ve gotten from here. Great staff. Great service. Perfect for gift giving.

handMADE MONTANA has a unique variety of cards and gifts. The displays in the store are organized and the customer service is excellent! I did my Christmas shopping early this year at handMade Montana! Add this unique shop to your list of places in Polson you do not want to miss!

My favorite shop in Polson for unique, Montana crafted gifts. Even my hipster son from Austin was impressed!! And I appreciate that the proprietor, Carol Lynn Lapotka, is often at work in her studio at the back of the store, creating cute, comfy clothes and outdoor wear from recycled natural fibers. What’s not to love?

My husband and I come to flathead once a year and Handmade in Montana never disappoints. Best souvenirs to bring home to our loved ones. 🦬
