I have definitely found my electrician. I called James for a quote months ago for electrical work I have intended to have done for 20 years. He was fair and transparent about the amount of work and the pricing involved. James was prompt and informative through the long process of replacing all switches and outlets to include adding ceiling fixtures where there had been none previously. He kept me updated frequently as the project took some time to complete. In addition, he replaced my entire panel box to include the meter box and the wires supplying the meter box .
I recommend JG Electric to those who live in an old house with many issues. James was steadfast in safely and qualitatively installing many additional fixtures throughout the house and garage. In addition, he was able to offer discounts as applicable.
We feel a lot safer now knowing our electrical system is finally up to code, with some new extras to boot.

So we're doing house repairs.
And we're replacing a floor in my art studio. My lovely husband accidentally cut through some wires trying to remove some old wood on the floor.

He really got down to the knitting gritty of things And help us Fixed a problem that we accidentally caused! Lol
He's fast, he's explains everything. He Is also very fair with his prices.
We will be using him for other projects that we have.

I hired JG Electric to install ceiling lights throughout my entire house where none existed prior and to rewire all the outlets and switch patterns. Also had JG Electric hang a new ceiling fan as well as several light fixtures in entryway, dining area, and closets. I met with James (the owner) prior to hiring JG Electric, to review the scope of work. James spent a lot of time with me during that initial consult and offered many creative solutions and thoughts on how best to achieve my goals. He went beyond the typical electrician and offered valuable "design" advice on lighting schemes and switching patterns. James looked for ways to control costs without sacrificing quality or my objectives. James provided a very thorough and detailed electronic proposal and kept detailed records as the project unfolded...he was careful and through in alerting me when decisions or circumstances could result in a change order or change in cost. James was very clean and thorough in his work, very accommodating in his scheduling, and very respectful of me, my family, and our home. My work with JG Electric will continue in the future as i work on projects around the house.

I've had JG Electric work for me several other times, but this was the big one! James and crew worked for several days fixing the electrical problems at an office building that I'm selling. He replaced panels, condensed 3 meter cables, relocated outlets, installed new outlets, installed new wiring, replaced pipe fittings, and took care of a problem in the attic. All while keeping me informed of every step and change. He is very personable and works efficiently. No messes left! The cost is fair and the work is quality. Of course I'll call JG Electric for my next project.

This is the second time I have used JG Electric and again am not disappointed at all. The last time James did an amazing job of putting security motion lights up and lights inside in two rooms. This time he put a new bathroom light in for us. He came he looked he left he came back with the light and he had it up! Made the bathroom lose its dismal look and now it has a nice bright light. He went the extra mile to fix the holes in the ceiling from the previous fixtures. I love the fact that James is very personable and knowledgeable in his craft and will explain to you anything you need to ask him to help you understand. He will be coming back to redo the outlets in our house here in the fall also.

This is the second time using JG Electric. The first time James installed a bathroom light fixture, LED mirror, and moved a few electrical outlets to fit a new vanity. The second time we called James with a circuit breaker issue. He came out the same day and fixed the issue. James is very personable and professional. He explains everything in detail and does excellent work at a fair price. I will definitely use JG Electric for any electrical needs in the future.

We had an electrical emergency occur and were lost what to do next, we didn’t know any electricians, we hadn’t needed one for such a long time. Who do we call? I have to own up, I did a bit of digging before we picked J G Electric.
James figured out just what had happened to our system. To our amazement, we were completely wrong where the fault lied. He resolved the whole thing, suggested a few other things which needed attention.
Now we have a system which is safe and should last a very long time. If you want a job done correctly and safely then look no further.

Friendly and professional. Quality work done at a fair price. Needed new main line to panel and rewiring to panel and rewiring to high voltage appliances and replacing outdated forms of wire to meet codes. Worked with me to reduce price by allowing me to do some of the easy work myself that he inspected along the way. Very happy with the quality of the work performed. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

We were having a problem with our lights flickering. We called several area electricians, but James was the first to respond. He quickly assessed the problem and explained what he was doing to repair it every step of the way. We will definitely call JG Electric again if we ever need another electrical repair or installation.
