Maghen at MC Hair Designs is fabulous. I have been going to her for over four years and love each and every cut and color I've had. I have finally found someone who can cut my wavy hair in a way that falls so beautifully and naturally that I can style it myself without a fuss. Another plus, during this time of COVID, is Maghen's salon is incredibly spotless. It is a beautiful, one-client-at-a-time salon, where you feel safe, attended to and relaxed -- even while we're all wearing masks. I recently moved out of Ridgefield, but will continue to drive back MC Hair Designs to experience Maghen's expertise. I won't trust anyone else but Maghen with my hair!

This review is a little too late. I should have written something so long ago and I never got to it. Maghen was a magician with hair. She treated each and every client like royalty. Nothing else mattered to Maghen except the pure happiness and satisfaction her clients felt leaving her salon.
Maghen has changed how many women viewed themselves. Coming in timid and not all that confident and leaving feeling like a movie star or a model. The hair can make all the difference and that’s what maghen did. Maghen delivered the best treatment to everyone the best that she could and knew how. To say maghen was a color genie is an understatement. To say maghen was a master stylist is even an understatement. Talent like hers will NEVER be found in anyone else or in any other salon.

Maghen of MC Hair designs is amazingly talented. She is professional, knowledgeable and warm welcoming. I have been going to Maghen for years and would recommend her to anyone! She has always worked her magic and saved my hair from anything from hard water damage, dry/damaged hair, to blending way over-due root coverage. Every time I leave her, I always feel like a MILLION bucks! You will never leave her salon disappointed!!

Maghen does an amazing job with hair and is fantastic at giving you a cut or color that will look good on your face shape and skin tone. She's very attentive to what the customer wants and adjusts each look to the individual. She's also super sweet and conversational. I've loved every single thing she's done to my hair!

Maghen made me feel comfortable and welcomed the moment I arrived. She respected and listened to the the ideas I had as well as helped to build upon them in order to create a hair color and cut I would love. I left her salon not only obsessed with the new color, but more knowledgeable about how to properly care for my hair. I am now an MC Hair Design client for life!

I had my first blow out from Maghen this past Saturday and my hair looked phenomenal! Since I go to a lot of events and meetings I get my hair blow dried a lot. Out of all the blow outs I have had over the past year, I can honestly say that the one I received from Maghen at MC Hair Designs blew the others out of the water! I received a lot of compliments that day and even 3 days later - my hair still looks great! In addition, Maghen was very accommodating to my crazy schedule and was able to fit me into her already booked day. I highly recommend MC Hair Design!

MC hair designs is like walking into a chic boutique with a chill vibe. It’s small, stylish and intimate unlike the cookie cutter factory-like salons out there. They don’t have assistants so you get one on one time with the master stylist Maghen also the owner. Unlike other salons in the area this owner also understands the science of hair and executes color so sleek to, cuts styled flawlessly. She really listens to her clients and delivers perfection. Coming from a Manhattan salon and trying many of the area salons MC Hair Designs is the top.
The blowouts are amazing, last minute appointment accommodations are always worked out.

Maghen was very informative when I expressed my concerns about my hair. There was a very harsh line between my natural hair and where my hair was colored. Maghen explained my hair was improperly bleached and dyed. She went on to explain how it would be fixed at her salon and how significantly it can be improved. By the end of my appointment, my hair was blended and had a natural flow of color.

Although Maghen was busy with other clients when I called to make an appointment, she was still able to accommodate me. It was clearly communicated between Maghen and Katie my situation. Katie already knew my concerns when I got there and went to fix my hair just as Maghen explained to me over the phone. Katie even gave me tips on how to properly color and maintain my hair going forward. Both Maghen and Katie made sure I wasn’t leaving until I was happy with how my hair turned out.

Maghen completely made my hair new again. I went into the salon with a mess of hair, all over the place color and she corrected everything. She seriously made me the happiest girl. I feel pretty and confident again. I don’t post any pics without a filter and I did that night. I lost confidence in the last few months ... and she gave that back to me! I have never been so happy with my hair !!!!!!!

Maghen is a sweetheart. If you want a great service at price. Look no further. Easy to make the appointment and she cuts my hair exactly the way I want it every time.

Maghen and Kelsey are truly special women who actively listen to their clients and take pride in their craft. I drive from Greenwich to RIdgefield to see Maghen because she provides undivided attention and is concerned about long-term relationships and service. She has been taking care of my family for over ten years... we can't imagine life without her! Amazing, in every way!!!!

What a joy, and how lucky we are to have Maghen here in Ridgefield. She is positive, hard working, highly skilled in all aspects of her profession.
