Straws Auto Center

I would recommend Straws to everyone. Not out to make a quick buck like some shops gouging. Quality work and very honest!! We brought our daughters car for inspection and alignment. We're very satisfied and will be taking all of our vehicles there!!!

I have brought all our vehicles to Straws Auto Center. They are the best, the service is top knotch and would not trust our vehicles at ANY other Auto Center.

I've been using Straw's for a few years now, always a good experience. They keep you informed along the way. A great shop that treats you well.

My engine light came on during a road trip. Steve and the team were able to diagnose the issue, get the needed parts and help get me back on my way when no other station could help. They are awesome!

The service was all great. All the work was done on time. The price was very affordable for the work that needed done. My car is very old and sometimes very expensive to get fixed. I was able to pick it up on the day I needed it. I would refer a friend any day.

Greatest Auto Center in Dillsburg. PERIOD.
Dropped my vehicle off in the evening for state inspection and emissions after hours due to getting out of the office late, and they were still there working - which allowed me fortunately to drop off all the required paperwork as well as speak with a mechanic on what needed to be done.
They are extremely professional and experienced.

Car was dropped off after 5pm and I get a call at 8am the following morning advising me that my car was ready for pickup. This is my first car I have ever owned (10 years) where I have only paid for the inspection!! Nothing was needed, in which understandable, car has been running fine from what I could tell (2007 BMW) and I ONLY paid for the inspection - $55. They didn't try to add any miscellaneous charges like "Oh you need a new oil pan bolt - $25" type of business. None of that.

They do great work and are honest with their trade.

They are off Range End road, in Dillsburg. If you need ANYTHING done to your car I highly recommend going to these guys!!

After a horrible experience at the dealership, I found this gem of a shop. They repaired my vehicle swiftly and verified the issue all within 1 day. Ever since, I've continued to use Straws Auto Center. Always polite and really putting the customers needs first. Never pushy with up sales unless the vehicle actually needs it. I'm very thankful to have found a good honest shop.

I had all my vehicles serviced by Straw's over the years. I have recommended family and friends to use Straw's and all were very satisfied with the service and price.
Below are some of my comments as well as theirs:

1) Negotiable Staff - Fixed the problem the first time.
2) Owners who care about their customers and their service.
3) Very Accommodating to customers schedules.
4) Very clean building with updated equipment.
5) Very reasonable prices for the Great Service received.
6) Honesty ! Never repairs items which are not required.

Insures customer are made aware of upcoming schedule services such as state inspections.

Straw's have built their business as a result of their excellent services and fair prices which generated referrals.

I highly recommend that if you are looking for a honest auto center with fair prices try Straw's you will not be disappointed.

On my road trip today, I noticed my tire started rapidly deflating. I missed the turn off for the nearest gas station so took the next road I could find to pull over. Turns out this gem of a shop was at the end of the road and they stopped what they were doing to patch and refill my tire. They were also excellent at making me laugh and distracting me from my anxious worries. I am so grateful for the service I received and can’t help but smile when I think of how serendipitous it was to find them. 10/10

I took my truck to Straw's for a power steering leak (which they diagnosed for me after I was having other issues). Unfortunately they were not able to get the part on the same day I brought it in, due to part availability, and the truck was un-safe to drive further. They normally have a courtesy vehicle available, but it was taken that day. Rather than leave me stranded, Glenn (the owner) personally drove me to the nearest rental agency so I could have transportation. He even worked to get me a discount on the rental! I have been bringing my car and van for a couple years now and I always get the best service for any repairs and at a reasonable price. The people there are always professional and helpful. Once I dropped my car off and the person who came to pick me up, the car just died. The owner called one of his mechanics to go to the job to jump start the car. All it needed was to tighten the connection to the battery. He went above and beyond. He cleaned the positive connection and put in a new screw as the other screw was stripped. It was also Father's Day. I give a good kudos for going out of his way when the shop was closed too.

Great customer service and communication: everyone I spoke with was very kind and went out of their way to answer my questions and explain the work that was done to my vehicle. They have a technician on staff who specializes in Subarus, and from what I can tell so far they quickly and effectively fixed my Subaru’s head gasket issue (which Subarus are known for) and provided me with a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was in their shop. All of their work and parts are covered under a 24,000 mile/ 24 month warranty through NAPA and even though I’ll be moving soon, they told me to contact them to fax over warranty information to my new mechanic. My windshield needs replacing too, and even though I work during their weekday business hours, the owner offered to schedule me on a weekend. Overall a good experience: I’m glad that I decided to try Straws Auto Center.

out of towner experience. had no prior knowledge of Straws. truck broke down (snapped transmission shifter cable) at start of yellow breetches river kayak trip w/ some local friends. AAA gave me dealer and non-dealer options for mechanics that were approved by AAA. i hate dealerships. period. opted for Straws as the only non-dealership mechanic presented as option...and, i couldn't have been happier.
had to have truck towed there w/o any interaction w/ the shop (after hours on a saturday). i was trapped to trust whatever was happening based on circumstances. turned out...they provided great customer service, fair pricing and quick fix. caught a ride home that night and in 2 days was able to come back and pick up a perfectly working truck. nice honest shop, with quality, timely work. hard to find good mechanics and ones you inherently trust as well. i am not from the area, but these guys/gals would be my go-to shop if i was from there. nothing but a real positive experience given most of the situation was out of my control...

My husband took my Explorer for service a few months ago and we need a lot of work done. Glen was very accommodating and kept us in the loop. I brought my Explorer back recently and got a loaner this time, something I wasn't expecting from a local shop, but greatly appreciated. The loaner was a little messy, so I informed them of this. I couldn't believe it......they came to my work and cleaned out the loaner.....it was totally fine, I just wanted them to know that so the next person would have a clean car! I was totally blown away.......and had a clean car to return to them! Kudos !!!!!!

Thanx Glen and Straw's Auto Center!! I needed my wife's car inspected, and also had 100,000 mile maintenance due. It needed a lot of work, and it was done quickly and at a reasonable price. Glen goes above and beyond with constant communication thru the whole process. Something you never get from any service provider in any industry. Very reasonable prices too! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I’ve used this shop for multiple issues, from oil changes to engine replacements. These guys always get me the best results, for the best price. Couldn’t ask for a more reliable place

Great customer service and family friendly auto center! I was driving my van today and smelled gasoline. Called Randy Straw at Straw's Auto Center and they got my vehicle in right away. I have been going to Straw's auto center for 19 years and will only take our vehicles here! Driving with my 10 year old son, safety is my 1st concern and this Mom will always recommend Straw's to my family, clients and friends.

Update: I dropped the van off at 3:30 and got a call at 5:30 that it was fixed..

Had my car in for a suspension evaluation and check engine light. I have a lowered car on coil overs, and they accommodated my low ride height.

Regarding the CEL, they could have charged me for some diagnostics work, but didn't.

Nice, honest group that don't nickle and dime, I would highly recommend.

Straws has really been great. They have serviced my BMW, Toyota, and Honda for over three years now and maintained them all well. Would highly recommend them for their service and fair pricing.

Best place to have your car serviced. Honest and friendly. Great pricing . They will get you your vehicle repaired in a day if parts are available.
