Metro Swim Shop

After reading reviews, I was a little nervous to come here but we received great service. I called ahead incase we needed an appt. to get a tech suit but the woman just said to come in, (at least 2 hours before closing). We were in there on a Saturday, there was no one else in the store and the woman was super helpful with getting my daughter into the right suit and the right fit. I probably could have purchased the same suit online slightly cheaper but as this was her first tech suit we had no idea which was a good suit and wanted to get the proper fit. It was well worth the money & the trip.

New Beginnings!! I must admit, 3 years ago the staff was VERY rude, BUT they must be under new management or have more of a positive outlook on their business. I have been there three times since last spring (2021) and it has been a pleasurable experience every time. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and about competitive swim gear. This swim family will be back!

Doesn't sound like the other person the other reviews mention is there anymore, was there this weekend and the person there was very nice and helpful.

Went in to find a suit and the woman asked if she could help me. She pointed me in the right direction and agreed the one I chose was one of the best. The prices are very fair. She was friendly upon speaking with her and the shop has many different options.

Good local store but some mark-ups are too much. We just bought a towel pant for our daughter for $40. It's $30 on Amazon!

The store manager is very helpful and understands swim gear.

Lady at the counter was rude and she was quite snappy when she spoke, but I was able to find what I was looking for.

The woman that works at the store today Is absolutely horrible. I walked right out without buying anything. She was yelling at this lady and her granddaughter who had just purchased 2 pairs of googles that broke on first try to put on. She was absolutely awful about the situation and they clearly don’t back up their products. At prices like they have, I will take my business elsewhere.

The worst customer service. I bought hand flippers for working out and I realize when I got home that they were the wrong size because the size was written in very small on the packaging I merely cut the two plastic bands to put it on my hand and I realize it didn’t fit and I said these were the wrong size I’m gonna come up and exchange them they said they couldn’t exchange it and they would not exchange it. On the receipt it only says no store exchanges or credits for clothing items. The woman hung up on me the rudest people I have ever dealt with I will never go in there again

What a terrible experience. I hope this place has competition because it has absolutely awful customer service. I was not told a suit could only be returned for store credit when I spent hundreds on a competitive suit that had to be tried on. My son tried it on but the fit was wrong. We immediately put back in box with the tag still on. When I drove 30 miles back to return, the rude salesperson first tried to tell me the suit was in bad condition (it was inside out) then said I could only get store credit which I can’t use (my son’s swim career is done) and noted they had “always made that clear.” Had they done so I would have ordered elsewhere which I had to do anyway. Don’t spend your $$ here. They don’t deserve it.

The worst customer service , I've ever seen. I'm trying to place a team order for a month now , no success. Person with name "Andrian" is hanging up and not transferring the calls no managers, he is also not taking calls if he sees same person calling. Unfortunately no alternative to get a swim suit with Scholl logo s- Management - please call me - you have my voice mail with phone #

I have never been treated so rudely by a business owner than I was today at Metroswim Shop. We went in to buy a high end suit and were treated terribly. The owner's first question was, "Are you aware these cost almost $400?" And then she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't allow anyone to try on these tech suits unless I planned on buying one. Well, we clearly were there to buy and I am quite aware of how much the suit costs. When my son had trouble getting the suit on, instead of offering advice or reassurance (because they are very difficult to get on) she looked at him and said, "Well you're clearly not ready for a suit like this." The owner was also rude to her employees and to other customers in the store as well while we were there. She has no idea who I am, what my swim connections are, and who my son is. She treated him like he was nothing more than a kid who has just learned how to swim when, in fact, he is an accomplished competitive swimmer.
