Nicholas Stroumbakis, MD

Dr Stroumbakis found very early stage bladder cancer, successfully removed and follows me 2-3 X a year. Grateful for his eagle eye, incredible training and reassurance. Dedicated and confident, huge Mets fan.

Dr S. is sharp as a knife. He knows what to look for. Plus he is a really Down to earth person. A good listener.

An odd urine test led to a CT scan revealing a tumor-completely unexpected because I'm normally ridiculously healthy. That doctor called Dr. Stroumbakis, who cleared a slot to see me the next day. At that visit he said he needed to do a quick procedure to verify and said we could schedule in hospital or do in office right then. We did it at the office. (Great nursing staff btw). He said it needed to come out and he'd clear a spot asap. He did and removed it 4 days later. He isn't a warm, fuzzy type but is very concise, clear, and focused. That is exactly what I needed and wanted. He called personally twice afterwards to check on me. I couldn't have been more impressed with the willingness to move patients around by prioritizing medical needs. I know it isn't great to be the person who has their appointment switched or pushed back 20 minutes, but I certainly appreciated the speed with which he and his staff moved. I will continue with him for care and recommend him highly.

Dr. Stroumbakis is an intelligent and caring doctor with a staff that has gone above and beyond. He literally had another doctor complete a surgery to come and see me during a medical emergency in 2007. His staff understood the significance of my symptoms, relayed them to him, and he reacted in rapid fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to refer family or friends to him.

I disagree with previous reviews; I have been under his care for more than 5 years; Dr Stroumbakis is great.. he takes his time with you, he is very professional and knowledgeable on how to help you.. his staff is also very polite and efficient and they are always there to help.

Dr. Stroumbakis was instrumental in saving my life with his professional expertise, knowledge and experience. 5 stars are well deserved!

Dr. Stroumbakis is highly knowledgeable and experienced. Maybe more importantly, he is as down to earth as it gets and easy to talk to about whatever is ailing you.

Diligent and caring and makes you feel very much at ease. Dr Stroumbakis is excellent !

Good doctor and person

My husband attended Dr Strambakis office for a health matter. Although the doctor was very nice unfortunately the admin staff are not. We had trouble getting through information about the exam results and getting a sick note for work that he needed. The admin staff was rude and abrupt. It's a real shame.

I was stuck in traffic on Gov. Cuomo (Tappan Zee) Bridge half hour before the appointment time. GPS was showing that I'm running more than 15 min late. So I called the office to check if I would be accepted when arrived 15-20 min late. Apparently my call was responded by a call center. I was told that the call center needs to ask the office and that the doctor's office will call me back. In a few minutes I received the call back from the doctor's office and was told that I may still come to the office and will be accepted. I arrived at the office 18 min after my appointment time, but Dr. Stroumbakis said that he couldn't accept me. I can't say that anything is wrong with doctor's qualification, but the way he treated me doesn't make me happy. Especially since it was supposed to be a quick follow up check after the successful treatment a few months ago.

overcharge and then tried to justify by making a missed appointment. not nice. i still don't know if my results that where taken over three months ago, so if i die they will never get paid.

Ridiculous price for a telehealth visit ($300+). Do not come.

AWFUL. NOTHING good to say here. Find another better doctor with a better office.

They charge you 375 per visit. Stay away.
