I am lost for words, after being a box hair dye girl for all my life, I finally hit my break today. Jay Romero and his team definitely built my confidence back up today. I’ve used harsh box dies on my hair from black and blues to vibrant reds all my life . My hair was screaming for help but deciding where to go for the repair wasn’t hard at all. Jay was able to color correct my hair and give me a natural hue that I wanted but even better, and I swear my hair had to have grown a couple of inches while being there because the way that my hair has dimension to it is so insane! My situation was definitely one to trust the process with, And the ending results were beautiful. Thank you Jay Romero, and team for Getting me ready for the hot weather! An amazing experience from start to finish! The receptionist is so nice and accommodating. Jay is an artist and so knowledgable - he fixed my color and gave me the most beautiful balayage and haircut. Adriana and Carolina are wonderful as well and assisted throughout the process. The salon is beautiful, super clean and they sell lots of great products. I couldn’t be happier and have found my new forever salon. Jay gave me the most beautiful balayage and cut, completely yet subtly transforming my blah brown hair. The new salon is pristine, comfortable, and gorgeous. The staff were all so kind AND make a delicious cappuccino! After leaving NYC two years ago, I’ve finally found my CT salon! Thank you Jay!!

I am obsessed with my haircut from Jay Romero salon! I came here on a whim after seeing their social media content and it did not disappoint. Jay listened to exactly what I wanted. He gave me such a trendy style and showed me all the ways to style it on my own. The shampoo was long and luxurious. I was on a super tight schedule and he had 2 people blow drying me to make my deadline. He was very attentive and detail oriented. I will definitely be back!

I had pretty much given up on my hair before giving Jay a try. My issue was that I didn’t really know what was best for it. Therefore I avoided going regularly for even a cut. Now, I can actually say I have a go to place and leave 150% satisfied with my hair. I let Jay do what he thinks is best and he is always on point! Either rest of the crew is also very pleasant and know their stuff. My only complaint is that I have to make it a day as coloring takes a while. But such is the cost of beauty!

Jay and his staff are amazing, they are so professional and kind!! I struggled to find a good stylist for several years after mine moved out of state. He came highly recommended by a colleague and I could not be happier with him. Getting an amazing haircut and style (with QUALITY products) is not something that you will find everywhere. He is a perfectionsit which is fantastic and works for me as I am as well, and it just makes the relationship work :-)

Jay and the staff were excellent. I don't let anyone touch my hair, but he's undoubtedly one of the best touches on my hair. Very professional, caring attentive to the customer's needs. I felt fabulous after leaving the salon.

Jay and his Glam Squad did a fabulous job for my mom, sister and I! We came from out of town for a wedding, and even though they had never met us before, they treated us with such warmth and care as if we were regulars! They met all of our needs (frizzy hair, fine hair) and exceeded our expectations with our hairstyles! They all worked well together to create each of our hairstyles, and they all have a great eye for detail. It was such a nice, relaxing morning of pampering, and we look gorgeous for our night! I highly recommend Jay's salon whether you're local or not!

The Jay Romero Salon is an absolute gem. Jay and his team are warm and friendly. Jay’s coloring skills are unmatched. He is the most consistent colorist I have ever met. A professional to the core. He is a genius! Not to mention his ability to cut hair. Truly an exceptional group.

Can I just start by saying first impression is everything and the salon is absolutely gorgeous! all of the staff were extremely knowledgeable and their hospitality is top tier. I have very curly hair and my highlights came out stunning! will be going back to visit soon.

This was my first time getting my hair done with Jay and now questioning myself for not going to him sooner. He did a balayage on my hair and I love it. It was exactly what I wanted. His passion for what he does, reflects through his work. While I was there, Jay did about 5 or 6 other customers as well and he treated everyone with the same professionalism and attention. Everyone's hair looked amazing. His staff is also amazing. Jay has a great team representing him.
