Edo Korean Japanese Restaurant

Always my go to food after a long tiring day at work. Prices went up but it’s still worth it! Bibimbop is really good together with the sauce.

Side dishes are also good and can always ask for more.

Overall, good food! Just wished the price was a little small.

I had been planning to try this restaurant and I am glad we finally did. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food on par with restaurants in K town in NY. The usual appetizers of gyoza and pancakes was delicious. The beef bibimbap was served in the traditional hot stone bowl. The server does the final touch to mix it up when it arrived at our table. We look forward to to trying the other items on the menu especially the bbq offerings.

Jul 22: Post pandemic update. The restaurant is largely the same, but like many similar businesses, there seems to be a staffing shortage. It's great that the restaurant survived as there's hardly any Korean restaurants in the area.

Most delicious and best hot pot bimbimbap!! The food is extremely fresh - vegetables and kimchee are made daily you can tell the extra care and attention to freshness and high quality preparation. Wonderful service and overall best Korean restaurant in the area…highly recommend!!!

We’ve eaten here several times. As a Korean American, I can say that the Korean food is authentic and outstanding and so is the sushi/sashimi. They use top ingredients and you have to try the homemade fresh kimchi, which is the best I’ve tasted since my mom stopped making it decades ago. If you like Korean food, you have to try this place. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food you get.

I love the owners. Big fan of place for a long time. Food is always great, place is immaculately clean.

I’ve gone back to this restaurant about 3-4 times now and every single time the bowl has never failed my expectations. Their description says the best Korean and Japanese Restaurant in town and though I haven’t been to a lot so far I can agree with that! So far I’ve only had the bowl but the bowl has a interesting way of eating as you have to keep turning it or it will become burnt but that’s one of the bests parts because then everything is cooked and the bottom is amazingly crispy! I 100% will go back here again and was introduced by a family friend and I’m so glad I saw this restaurant.

This place has the best sushi in town. Always fresh and the owner is a gem!

Had the kimchi today it’s excellent. Can’t believe I had no idea Edo was even there. Definitely will go again.

To be honest there is so nice personal and professional.About the food it was great.

Fun place to eat. The decore is homey and the food is good.

Very hospitable staff, extremely accommodating ( one of my kids has a rare sesame allergy) and they check on you often to make sure you get what you want in a timely manner. Good is delicious. Highly recommend this place ,have been going there for over 20 years now.

just happened to stop by on my way home to jersey and I had one of the better galbi at this restaurant. much better than some of the restaurants in Northern jersey. definitely recommend if you live in that area! Also had sushi and sashimi as appetizers and it was great as well

Legit Korean Food - actually Korean style! Very impressed with the Bulgogi and Bibimbap and the side dishes. Felt like I was in Korea, owner is very nice. Highly recommend. We live an hour away and will return!

Nice little Korean and Japanese be place. I was visiting family and they brought me here for lunch. It was late for lunch, probably 3 or so, and I was surprised to see at least 3-4 other tables of people eating. I guess that's a good sign.

I had the hot stone bowl beepim bop. Its a pretty standard dish, hard to do it wrong. A nice touch was that after bringing the dish the waitress actually mixed the bowl for me, asking if I wanted the hot sauce, and how much.

Good food, I'd come back.

Very friendly. I had never been to a Korean restaurant or eaten Korean food. Very tasty, large portions! I would go back, as long as I had someone to order for me.

Korean food here is excellent. Soups are fantastic and you should try every single one. We drive 20 min to go eat there at least few times a week. Korean food is one of the healthiest choices out there. Its wonderful to have some choices in world cuisines. Having small ethnic places like this is a privilege and should be supported especially in our area ... just how many pizza and fast food restaurants should an area have??
Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinion .. experiences vary and negative reviews should be perhaps be intelligently addressed with owner to help improve.
However, in six years we have no complaints.

Not many feelings better than walking into a random restaurant on a rainy day and the food ends up being AMAZING. I haven't gotten up yet and felt the need to leave a review. Soup was amazing. Sushi was amazing. Placed another order to go. And im coming back.

Randomly picked a restaurant tonight and we weren't disappointed. Korean food with some amazing flavor! Couldn't pronounce what I was eating but essentially calamari, vegetables and noodles... spicy but not so hot it was inedible. The appetizers that come with Korean plates were really good as well.

As busy as they were, the waitstaff kept up with it pretty well. They could've used some help to give more attention to the mass of customers flooding the dining room.
