Suffield Pizza and Family Restaurant

Best pizza in town! My family has been coming here since it opened. We love trying the specialty pizzas. My guilty pleasure is the Napolitano and Buffalo chicken pizza.

First time here. Food and service were an absolute delight. Great menu - way more than just pizza.

I normally don't write reviews, but I am saddened by all of the negative reviews of this place. For me, Suffield Pizza is by the best pizza spot in the immediate vicinity, to the point where, as a Windsor resident, I come here every time rather than one of the usual overrated spots typically patronized and exalted by those from Windsor. The pizza is exceptional (especially the sauce and crust - it is a thicker crust, more of a Greek-style crust, as opposed to New Haven or New York style, but I greatly prefer Greek-style pizza crust to anything else, so this is not a complaint), but what sets this place apart is some of their other unique dishes that you don't always find on an Italian menu. I have heard excellent things about their Polish dishes, especially their golombki, from friends and family, though I have never ordered them. My favorite dishes here that are atypical of an Italian restaurant menu are their pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce (their beer cheese is the best I've ever had anywhere, as good as you would find in a German brewpub), their soups (I love their vegetable soup in particular, when they have it - they use lentils and it's delicious), their short rib pappardelle (I personally prefer it without the tomatoes, but the pasta itself is delicious and so is their cream demi-glace sauce - I have eaten at countless fine-dining Italian restaurants in my lifetime, including Joe Bastianich's Becco in New York City, and the short rib pappardelle dish at Suffield Pizza rivals any of them), and their Back East burger (this is one of the few family style restaurants that truly knows how to cook a burger. I ordered it medium-rare because places usually screw up if I ask for medium and overcook it until it's well done, but to my surprise, the burger came out at the exact temperature I asked for). Overall, this in one of my favorite local restaurants.

Excellent Service and Great Chicken Francaise.
Not sure why so many negative energy post. The server was top shelf with perfect timing of the beer, salad, warm bread and Chicken Francaise. When my first beer was down to 1.69" she asked for the obvious second. She also did the follow up on the salad and meal which is basically MIA in most places these days. The Chicken Francaise was breaded and cooked perfectly. The lemon butter sauce was just right and the rigatoni noddles were perfect al dente. I took half the CF home and seconds are always better. The ambiance was very nice with some really cool old B&W pics on the wall.

Very much a home town restaurant. Great food, great service and family friendly pricing!

Had take out, ordered half cheese and half pepperoni pizza and a Suffield Burger, both were absolutely delicious. The burger was a little underr done (ordered medium-well) it was kinda red but still delicious. I will be returning.

Great place to stop in for some delicious pizza or good options for hot and cold grinders!

This is one of my favorite places to go for a night out with my wife. The staff and the owners are all very nice and one of the waitresses even knows our orders well enough to where she usually knows what I want before I can even order it. I like that because it shows me that they're giving attention to customers. I look forward to more visits here in the future.

My wife and I eat here often. The food is always terrific, and the staff are so friendly it feels like a meal at the home of good friends. I think the pizza is spectacular: high quality of ingredients and delicious crust. Homemade soup is always wonderful. The owner and the staff obviously take pride in their establishment, and it shows (and tastes). Congratulations to them! This is a gem.

I stopped in one day about a week or so ago for my lunch break and was instantly greeted like I was a regular or even family (this was my first time eating here and I also live in Massachusetts but work in Connecticut). I ordered the West Coast Grilled Chicken sandwich with the fries and a Root Beer. The sandwich was so delicious I wish there was a better way to describe it than that, the fries were amazing and more like wedge curls than fries (which, after having them, should be a fry standard lol). Would definitely recommend to others and I hope to stop in again asap. Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere, service and, of course, the food.

One of my favorite little mom and pop type spots in the area. Always get a good grinder, a yummy pizza, good value, and a smile.

Had a barbeque cheeseburger. They substituted a side salad for the fries. Food was delicious, served quickly and hot, and the waitress would check in but not interrupt to see if we wanted anything.

5/5 food and customer service. The mushroom golabki was amazing. We met the owners and they were fantastic to converse with. The house cab was excellent as well.

Excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere. We also go here for catering and they do a great job. They have a lot of options on the menu - we live locally and dine here frequently.

Not only great pizza but ALL types of food - love the Clam Strips made with only fresh clams or the Steak Tips !!! . Made the old fashioned way, not from a box.
Qualilty at a very reasonable price.
