Avis Car Rental

I had some issues on the website with booking and was unable to get help online or via phone. Dee, at the Avis in Cedar City Airport location, was very understanding of my situation. I’ve been trying to get home since Sunday. She was able to arrange for me to get a corporate car that would allow me to go back home to LA, though it was very uncommon for them to be able to do that. She was able to get me a good deal as well, so I wouldn’t be charged a ridiculous price. She made sure that if I did have any issues to contact her with the number she provided with me. I’ve been having a rough couple days, but she really helped turned that around. I am grateful for Dee.

Huge thank you to Dee. Our car broke down and we were towed to a dealer in Cedar City. We were on our way home from out of state and were told car repair would take two weeks or more. Frantically we searched for a one way car that could hold all of our stuff. Dee explained how difficult it is to get one way vehicle. She was able to arrange a vehicle and gave us a more than fair price. Thankfully we could make it home. So stressful!

Dee is just an amazing person. The world needs more people like her! Avis is lucky to have someone with such genuine customer service. I was in a bind, I could not find a rental car anywhere in Cedar City. I showed up to Avis and saw they were sold out, to my dismay. But Dee not only managed to scrounge up a car for me, she gave me a hefty discount for renting the vehicle for 7 days and because she has an absolute heart of gold. I want to be friends with Dee! I highly recommend this place and Dee. She will treat you right.

i was stranded in cedar city with a broken transmission. they were so insanely helpful and gave me such a great deal on a car to safely drive back home out of state. they were wonderful

Very nice and friendly front desk staff! We rented a car from Las Vegas McCarran Airport and to our dismay, the car we rented at the Vegas location was full of troubles. However, Avis at Cedar Regional Airport was able to accommodate us and provide us with a car exchange. The personnel was attentive, understanding, and helped us so much! Thank you so much for your help :)

If it wasn't for Avis we wouldn't have had a rental. We had made an online rental with Enterprise as they were the only Rental Place at Cedar City Airport listed to be open after our flight arrived. We had seen that we could have rented with Avis but their hours showed as closed. However it was quite the opposite. We arrived at the Airport only to find out that Enterprise was closed and claimed we didn't have a reservation even though we had paperwork in hand. They lady at Avis went out of her to contact them for us and found out they would not be coming in. She saved our day. She only had Trucks left but we needed a rental so we took it. She even discounted the price to match what we had booked for with Enterprise. She was so kind and stayed way past the hours that they had posted to make sure that we were taken care of. We will defiantly rent from this company again. We never had rented from them in the past but their customer service was so good that we will look to them in the future.

I rented a car from Avis at the Las Vegas McCarran airport for a trip visiting national parks in Utah. The second day of the trip I was in Bryce Canyon and the car wouldn't start in the morning. After two jumpstarts in a couple hours, it was obvious that there was a mechanical issue with the electrical system in the car. Being stranded wasn't on my vacation agenda!
I called Avis and they recommended swapping the car out at the nearest Avis location. That was the Avis location at the Cedar City Airport. A call there and the sympathetic lady said she could replace the vehicle. I made it to Cedar City and had quick and professional service from the counter agent. She only had a couple of vehicles available (limited stock at a small rental site, numbers controlled by Avis), but she gave me my choice. Less that a half hour later I was on my way with a sport ute.
It was great customer service from this small Avis location. Thanks!

The nice lady at Avis delivered when Enterprise dropped the ball.

Full story: Enterprise gave a confirmation number but when we got there no one was at the desk. So I called the number they posted. After a long wait they finally answered. They said sorry you shouldn't have gotten a confirmation number we have nothing available. At this point I'm skyroo'd. Enterprise offered nothing but an apology. No explanation.

The lady at Avis 8ft away from us said this has been happening alot. She gave us a great car and did not price gouge. Honest and helpful.

I had my work break down and was on my way to northern Utah,,,drop my truck off at the Cedar City Ford dealership and the enterprise rental across the street had nothing to rent. Needing to get up to Tremont I called avis at the local airport and they were more than helpful to my situation,,the lady that help me out was Dee and she put me in a beautiful Ford F250 extended cab at a great rate,,was super friendly and professional.. as I returned the truck six days later I was greeted with the same professional experience,,and again it was Dee that worked with me. So all I can say is thank you for a great experience it made my day renting it and returning it.

If you are planning on renting from this company let me help you understand a couple of things so you don't get frustrated. We have rented here several times and want to share what we have learned. This is a very small airport and so they don't have a large selection of vehicles. If you want something specific book in advance and give them a call them ahead of time and they will work with you to get you what you need. The lady that is usually there is nice and will do anything for you. It's not her fault that they don't carry a large quantity of vehicles and that they sell out fast. All the people leaving bad reviews maybe could head this advice, " You catch more flies with honey"😀 Be nice and they will be nice back

Considering the amount of customer using this airport, they are doing their very best. It is lucky that there is a rental car place in this airport at all. When we arrived 2 hour late than the booked time, we managed to get the last car. No time wasting sales pitch, car is right outside. Takes much less time than renting a car in a big airport.

The Avis rental counter at the Cedar City airport is wonderful to work with. Dee in particular is always so helpful and friendly! She goes above and beyond to make your rental experience great. I've rented numerous times for both personal and work from Dee and this location, and highly recommend it!

Dee is awesome at her job, She handled everything very quickly and smiled he whole time. Very nice, & professional. Will use this Avis anytime I need to rent a car. If anyone was is looking to rent a car this would be the best place to go.

My experience with this Avis has been absolutely wonderful! In these troubling times it is very refreshing to be treated with respect and and gentleness.
That said I would like to give a shout out to the wonderful lady Dee who went over and aboard to serve this truck driver. Thank you Dee!

We’ve been helped a lot after our car got a flat tire.

Dee in Cedar City Ut helped us rent a car for my father in law she was amazing to work with. She helped us out in a sticky situation and we are forever grateful!!!

We were involved in a wreck the night before with a Budget rental vehicle outside of Cedar City. The representative Dee was not only accommodating, she was empathetic and took care of us in a manner that allowed us to exchange the old vehicle for a bigger, safer vehicle, even though they were technically sold out.

I didn't rent my car from budget/avis, but Alexis and Dee helped me when I locked some belongings in my rental from another company and had dropped my keys in the after hours box. They contacted the company and got someone to come open the dropbox. Thanks!
