Incredible little spot for a classic diner experience. The food was great, the service was fast. Had the Montana Melt and a biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend it as a stop.

Had an amazing breakfast there. I believe this was the French toast. Nuff said. Great food and friendly folks make for a excellent breakfast on a long drive.

A lovely diner on the edge of town right on Hwy 2. Staff was friendly and knew most by name, but still made us feel very welcome. Great coffee!! Food was delicious and huge portions. We enjoyed the French toast, biscuits and gravy, sausage links and bacon. Will definitely be our go to spot in Malta!

This little cafe is a traveler's dream for breakfast. With a definite local flair, everyone is friendly. The service was a little slow, but the food was very tasty. They offered a half breakfast, 1 egg, half order of hash browns, 1 toast and half order of meat... just perfect! The waitress made sure our coffee was kept full. We'll stop here again!

Stopped in for breakfast and it was exceptional! I had a garbage omelete and hashbrowns. My father in law had ham, eggs and hashbrowns breakfast. Both were large servings and great tasting!

Hitchin' Post has a great selection of food and an amazing all day breakfast. Our omelette was stuffed and cooked to perfection, and the stuffed French toast is more than enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. The staff are very friendly and fast.

Wonderful breakfast served here. Had the "garbage" omelet. Very good sized and very tasty. Great service and friendly people. Highly recommended.

As was said in other reviews, truly a travelers dream. Small local feel with casual, friendly service. The food hit just right, got me ready for the long drive ahead. Definitely worth the stop.

First visit but will for sure stop our next trip to Malta. Breakfast served all day. Had a nice chef salad with fresh lettuce not the shredded bagged stuff. Friendly fast service.
