Maltana Motel

What a gem! Owner super friendly, room is size of a small studio apartment, 2 recliners, king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and everything is comfortable! And great price. Definitely would stay here again

We usually stay in hotels but we traveled farther then expected. I was apprehensive but boy was I in for a delight! The lady stayed up for us to get there, the room was so clean. It was a real treat! I may be more open in the future to locally owned motels!

Stayed at this charming little gem for a week while on a hunting trip. I have to say it was such a charming and nostalgic room. Let me tell you that the recliners in our room were equally as comfy as the bed and I spent plenty of time comparing the two! Don't miss this one on your next stay in Malta.

Very friendly owners, great value, clean. Also, two cats came out to greet us as we checked in, which made my day.

When we checked in very nice front desk help and the outside was so nice with the flowers, chairs & clean . The room was nice and clean. Nice bath towels. It is a older motel but no need to worry about outlets for phones etc…

I am a frequent stay (at least once every 6-8 weeks for several years now) and have brought my chiweenie every visit. The owner is a pet lover and has pet friendly rooms available upon request that are always clean and never smell of pets! (Trust me this is a rarity!) The rooms are always clean, quiet and comfortable. Great rates and although there is no continental breakfast, there is a microwave, large fridge and coffee maker in every room which makes in nice!

We were very happy with our room, the staff, and how quiet it was. We stayed 2 nights and have booked to stay another night on our trip home. Best place in Malta to stay!!!

My husband is from Malta and we stay here every time we come visit. They keep the place spotless and if there is anything you need, all you have to do is ask. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and easy access to Hwy 2. The owners also own the GN (Great Northern) so you get a free drink ticket there by staying at the Maltana.

Family that runs the hotel is very nice, rooms are clean, WiFi is great, bed is comfortable, shower is hot, and prices are fair. I will stay here again if I come back this way.

Room is big, very clean,and the bed is so comfy. Plus two of the best recliners to enjoy.
