Edgewater Inn & RV Park

We are local but chose to have a stay cation for my daughter's 10th birthday the room was clean and comfy and the gurls had so much fun was able to swim for hours and it was absolutly amazing the owners where so patient and amazing and made us feel so welcome we will 100% keep using them for traveling friends family and for ourselves

There isn't much to do in Malta, MT that you can't do in a day, so this was just a whistle stop on our journey to Glacier. Near as we can tell, there is no laundromat in town. So if you're camping don't plan to do laundry at this stop.

The pull through sites were a little narrow, but that's no biggie if you're just stopping here for a day or two. The real reason you wouldn't want to relax outside are the mosquitoes, which attack you like an invading army as soon as you exit a building. There also a train track very close by with trains running regularly.

In general and for our purposes, though, this RV park was plenty adequate and priced right. The owner/operator was very nice, and the indoor pool - although not as clean as I'd prefer - was a nice way for the kids to stay occupied. They even sell ammunition at the front desk! As an avid shooter from the People's Republic of Maryland, I was both astonished and jealous of this little perk!

Given the option, I'd have given 4.5 stars all things considered. But we'll round up to 5.

We really enjoyed our stay. Came down from Canada for the drag races. Room was clean and the staff were very welcoming. The town as a whole was just a great experience! We will definitely be back again next year 😊🇺🇸🇨🇦

Very nice room with lots of towels and a large table. Charles the owner was friendly and courteous - I stayed in a room with two double beds. Loved the plenty of space to put my luggage. Bathroom clean and a very good water pressure in shower. Air conditioning works great. I felt comfortable staying in this motel and would like to return the next time I visit Malta.

I overshot my intended stop for the night driving cross-country, and it was a huge relief to find accommodation at the Edgewater Inn. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned (and oddly comforting-- the older construction smelled like my grandma's house). The owners were super nice and got out of bed to check me in on a Sunday night. No complaints, didn't have any problems with noise or rowdy guests, checked in and out smoothly with a cup of coffee for the road.

We stayed in campsite 6 was not hard to get level at all. We were greeted by a very nice woman at the front desk with her grandson age 5 nice family business. Was great to let the kids swim after hours of RV travel. They have refreshing drinks behind the front desk for sale. Pet friendly just let them know if your booking a room before hand. Full hook up camping sites at a reasonable price. I saw they had laundry which is a great amenity!

Ownership is awesome, very accommodating. We stayed in RV Park and had family members visit us and stay in Hotel. Rooms were very clean and would recommend to anyone. RV park was just what we were hoping for our 24ft trailer would have fit in any spot and all hookups easily accessible. We will be staying there again for sure

The couple that took over this motel is very nice. Dog friendly. Pool and hot tub. No frills rooms, but cozy, quiet and comfortable.

Nice place to stop and stay the night on our travels between Theodore Roosevelt & Glacier (it was about halfway from the east Glacier entrance). Laundry room in the shower house building. (Bring quarters or get them from the desk before she leaves because there is not a change machine.) Nice level sites. We were only staying the night so we didn't even need to unhook in the site we stayed. Kids used the indoor pool and enjoyed it. There is a truck stop with a restaurant across the street for convenience. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but for getting a pool it was the best choice in the area.

Clean and quiet! There are train tracks nearby but it’s just “white noise”. Owner is polite even when we got him up at midnight to check-in. No problems at all with our stay. Would stay here again and it’s always a bonus to give the no -chain places business.

It is not brand new but worth the price. Very nice workers clean. And pool and hot tub is awesome 👏

The rooms are comfortable and clean and the place is very quiet. We had the pool and hottub entirely to ourselves. It's also within walking distance of some really good food and drinks. Can't ask for more.

Awesome place to stay for a hunting trip. Meat locker to hang your deer, laundry room to clean clothes and hot tub, pool and sauna to relax in after a day of hunting. Super friendly and helpful staff with clean rooms. We have been staying here for the past few years during deer season.

Very quiet. Located near convenient store, casino and restaurant. Very clean rooms and priced under $100.

Absolutely awesome country town family run hotel! Mrs. Barb greets you with a smile, is as informative as a front desk person should be, and has great advise on restaurants in town! The room is perfectly touched with a country flare, and the hotel is perfectly set by the Milk River! I have found a new place to call home when I am in the area!

We stay here quite often for work. Great place to stay in Malta.

Great place, wonderful people, easy in and out with long rig in pull through site. All good except the train close by. However after first time or two, didn't bother us much. No train whistles at least.

Every time I come here, the people at the desk are super nice and friendly. It's clean and comfortable. Never tried the pool, but there is one so that's a plus!

Friendly staff. Refreshing pool. Clean and basic. Great for an overnight on your trek across Montana. Prepare yourself for train noise!

Nice accommodations. Trains all night long but the rustic view of the bridge over the water kind of made it like an experience lol.
