Disappointing experience with this company. Stay clear if performing work for them.

Don’t reach out to RE/MAX unless you want to be harassed. We reached out regarding a property over a year ago and after speaking with an agent whose name begins with the letter “S”, we realized the property wasn’t a fit and she informed us that we wouldn’t be able to work together as we already had an agent we weren’t willing to part with. We were grateful for her time and parted ways. Or so we thought.

Over the course of the year, she has continued to pelt us with texts and emails even though we have politely opted out, unsubscribed and blocked her via phone and email. She changes her email and her phone numbers and reaches out again and again. Finally, she reached out again a few months back and once again, we replied with “unsubscribe” and reminded her that she is in violation of the US CAN-SPAM act which enforces that businesses sending promotional emails must remove recipients who have opted out of communications from all mailing lists within ten days. She violates this again and again as she sent a promotional email this evening where we again unsubscribed and blocked her yet somehow she writes back (she uses gmail as a loophole) and tells us to have a nice night like we’re the bad guys after we repeatedly and respectfully tried to end all communication!

So, why write a review? When you visit her office’s janky website, which she isn’t even included in, not a single owner, manager or admin can be found. Probably because harassment is their company-wide mission statement.

Again, we are thankful for her initial help but the communication needs to end. We never should have reached out in the first place and we’ll never work with RE/MAX in the future.
