Great feeling walking in friendly staff helped us get seated.
Gave proper time to come up get order and also coffee.
Good ole diner feel and was much bigger then I thought.
Will definitely be making more of a frequent use.
Food was great, had a burrito and pancakes
Not to expensive for everything that was purchased.
Need to see about customizing orders in the future.
Otherwise great experience will be coming back

Our Server was so attentive and friendly. First time to eat at Groton Townhouse Restaurant. The food was on point. Ordered the Roast Prime Rib of Beef with Mashed Potato & Vegetable and Salad. I will order that again. I guess I was too full that I forgot to ask for the dessert that came with the meal. Oh well, next time I go there, I'll remember to make room for the dessert. My wife ordered the Southern Fried Chicken, Vegetable and Salad.

Delicious no complaints at all I would definitely Come again or recommend if you’re out in the area I was really glad that my husband took us here. It was right next to the beach and we were able to go see the water after. they have a huge variety of pancakes from Oreos to apple to strawberry to Reesie’s.

First time coming with the wife for lunch.

I was surprised to see how big the menu was.
The waiter we had definitely knew her stuff as she explained the menu choices and what came with the dishes.
Looking around the crowded room and seeing all the tasty food being served set the bar really high for my meal, I wasn’t disappointed.
The food was so good!

Needless to say my wife and I would be making more visits here in the future.

This was the first time my wife and I came here , this place is huge , and the menu is massive. The corned beef and hash was awesome and so was the hashbrowns. I really liked this place alot definitely one of the best breakfast places I've been to and the its very fairly priced. Will definitely be back here when I'm in the area again to try there lunch menu !

Really great diner style restaurant. Children’s menu also had a ton of options and were great portions.

Our waitress, Karen C., was delightful! Always smiling, attentive and quick. The food was excellent, and the quantities were huge and inexpensive.

My friend ordered the 'thin sliced' Prime Rib sandwich. The prime rib was about 1/3 inch thick and hung off the bulkie roll by a few inches on each side. There were so many French fries that I brought the leftover fries home and two of us still couldn't finish them.

I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine. I've had similar in some fine restaurants, and this was honestly the best I've had. The white sauce was filled with seafood flavor, and there was an overload of seafood (shrimp, lobster, scallops, and langoustines) with it. As hungry as I was, there was no way I could finish it.

All this was a very pleasant surprise. I had eaten there four or five years ago and I swore I would never go back. The waitress and owner were both very nasty, food took forever to come out, and was mediocre at best.
My recent experience there was the total opposite. I highly recommend Groton Townhouse now, and will be going back there soon. Thanks for taking such good care of us Karen C.

The coffee was excellent. This is a local fan favorite so we decided to check it out. The menu has lots of options. I had coconut pancakes and my wife had French toast. Next time I will try an omelet. There was plenty of sitting room, service was fantastic, and food came quickly.

I visited with my work group of adults with disabilities (21 of us total) and they welcomed us into a private room that would accommodate us all. The waitress was great - she was kind and gave wonderful service. The food was good - only 1 person needed a "to go" container as everybody else ate most of the food off of their plates!

We love this place. Not a better American diner / family restaurant in nuclear blast range. The cakes are fabulous as are the portions. Dieters beware!

The waitstaff is superb, the menu is huge, the dessert case is drool-worthy. You can never go wrong with breakfast at 4pm. A steady go-to for any local.

Always tasty, always friendly! Portions are huge, food is delicious, no matter what are you ordering. Service is great, coffee is strong. Parking lot with a lot of space. Me and my husband love this place.

From the looks of it I definitely was judging a book by its cover, but once I got the nice server with the black hair, she was very friendly and very nice. It was to be like he was the only server working, but she had an amazing job with managing all of her guests.
The food was amazing. I will gladly drive 50 minutes back to eat here again.

For as old and established as the teahouse is, it's pretty well put together still. Great eats for a great price. Highly recommend.

The Groton Townhouse provides a great variety of quality food at a reasonable price. My wife and I love dining here. Their menu offers well over a hundred different choices. Many people come here for breakfast. And ... yes we totally enjoy their breakfast. But ... in my opinion the dinner dishes that they offer are the BEST! The tilapia, smothered in a rich, generous, lobster Newburg is outstanding. And, that dish comes with a cup of soup (or salad), two sides of vegetables and a slice of pie or cake. Their pies and cakes are also very good. The attached photo shows the choices that we were given. The service is great, the food arrives quickly and the prices are good. The Townhouse is like a diner on steroids.

This is a hole in the wall type of place. It does have a variety of food but I definitely love the breakfast. You can never go wrong with the breakfast. I got country fried steak and eggs. They got me hooked.

Loved the food! It was amazing, and ofcourse the server provided excellent service! The food portions were very generous, none of us finished our food, we all had to do take out afterwards but 100% recommend
