Papa Z's Restaurant and Pizza

Large menu, sauce is flavorful, cheezy garlic bread was excellent, the grilled chicken and chicken parm were tasty. We went here after doing the Baby Goat Snuggles at Syman Says Farms. It was a great day.

There was a party of 7 of us. Our waitress was Kylie or kayla, sorry. She was an excellent server. I ordered a Greek salad (large), which was a very good size. I was able to share it. I ordered a small veggie Pizza. Again, it was large enough to share and delicious with plentiful veggies. I was just traveling through this town, but I'd certainly suggest you stop in. You won't be disappointed.

Best Calamari FraDiavlo around (and I’ve had it at many more expensive restaurants and this is my fave!). You get a huge serving for the price and the calamari are plentiful. The sauce is spicy and amazing!

Great menu, great consistent food (you always know it's good) and the people are wonderful. I'm really glad we have them around.

Excellent, delicious pizza! This is my favorite place in the general area for pizza. Do not miss their tasty cannolis either. Everything is fresh. It’s a lovely pizza joint with friendly and kind staff.

Stopped for a burger for lunch on a Saturday. Had the onion, mushrooms and Swiss burger with fries. Asked for medium and was amazed to get it cooked perfectly. My dining companions burger was also cooked to a perfect medium. Food was very tasty and service was excellent. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. It is amazing how many restaurants murder a burger by over cooking, but this place was the exception. Keep up the good work.

Went in for a quick bite under a time constraint with the three kids, and we had our food and drinks on the table in under 10 minutes. Atmosphere was clean, spacious, and our server was sweet and accommodating. Kids' food was "delicious" and I had the Waldorf salad which was awesome and I brought half home!

Very busy (phone orders, take out, and a few in-house diners) and the small team managed it with ease. Great lunch stop!

3 times in the last month have had take out pizza and grinders for lunch. Yummy! Staff is polite and attentive. Personally love the vegetarian pizza.

The food and the service are great. It's owner operated and you can tell the family cares about its customers.

I was part of a large group which can be tricky. However, the ladies that took care of our group were excellent! Friendly, courteous and professional. The food was delicious, hot, plentiful and priced well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

After reading the reviews, my husband and I decided to give it a try. He ordered the salmon with dill sauce, and I have shells with meat sauce. The piece of salmon filled the plate and he ordered veggies with it rather than potato, which filled the other half of his plate. Both were very good. My shells came with plenty of meat sauce and was very tasty. Everything tasted homemade. He had a nice fresh salad and I opted for the tomato basil soup. Best basil soup I ever had. His salad was fresh and large. The waitress who was an owner I believe was very polite and efficient. We will definitely go back. We both came home with enough food for dinner. They have a nice variety on the menu, and can’t wait to try other interesting foods. Prices are very reasonable and cheaper than other places.

Delicious! Steak, seafood, pizza. Wine and beer menu. Great place for lunch or dinner. Recommend swordfish and prime rib on specials menu.

I was in Colchester visiting family and we opted for Pizza one evening for dinner. Papa Z's was the unanimous favorite. We ordered 4 pizzas on a Tuesday and ended up getting a free cheese pizza as well! The pizza was so delicious! They have a Mediterranean style that is so tasty! Also a Hawaiian! If you have the chance to get pizza from them you will not be disappointed!

Best wings ever, not too spicy not too bland. Pizza is good too and it’s near my sisters dance place so it’s good to walk to when we have late lessons or want something easy
