This place has the best fries around. Crispy on outside, tender inside. I had the crab cake burger and the lady had a salad. they were both on par with other restaurants in the area. The service was good but they were a bit short staffed i felt. we will be back to give them another try!

This was a cool small place we stopped off in for a late lunch. Service was great, food was good portion sizes are large so be prepared! The bbq nachos filled us up. We had to take our food to go.

The inside is inviting and lots to look at. Food is exceptional! Drinks are great! Overall a great place.

We've been trying to get around to all the bars/restaurants in Iowa that have been designated as having the "best tenderloins". We stopped here on a weekday and were very pleased with the food and the service. Elena was our waitress. Very personable and pleasant, plus she'd been there long enough to give us a history of the place. My wife and I each had the tenderloin (duh). I had the fries, and the wife had the sweet potato fries. The food was excellent. We're glad we made the drive from Cedar Rapids to experience the food and the atmosphere.

OMG!! I'm so glad We decided to stop here for date night this evening. We had the large order of Onion Rings, which were extra amazing from the seasoning to breading and dipped in ranch was absolutely to die for. We chose to pay the extra amount to get the "signature side", which was a garden salad. That was the best choice because it was so fresh and delicious. My Husband and I both chose to do burgers, he ordered the Sasquatch Burger, which was massive and looked amazing. He stated it was even better than it sounded on the menu and he was glad he chose to get the salad to get his veggies in, since there aren't any on the burger. I got difficult with my order because I wanted the Big Smokey deli sandwich, but wanted to make it a burger and they accommodated my request, with a little extra amount needing to be added to the cost of the deli sandwich, but the flavor and how filling it was made it totally worth every penny. Our waiter was great, he didn't hover over Us like some do when they don't have a lot of people in their section, bit stayed attentive while doing his other tasks. I will be recommending this restaurant to friends who would like to enjoy a fantastic meal and great atmosphere. Bathroom were clean and stocked with paper products, so not only did they do amazing with the food, the cleanliness of the dinning area, but they were definitely on top of the bathrooms, which can be looked over or forgotten about very easily, but overall, I give them a 10/10 ⭐ this evening. We came for valentines and My 1 year old was crying like crazy and the staff helped us out to calm her down and offered to hold our newborn while we eat !!! We love them so much and forever thank them for being so amazing ps the arrow nachos are so delicious much have them again

Tried the popper burger and it was amazing! 1/3 lb patty with a circular fried jalapeno popper thrown on top with a side of delicious crispy fries. My friend tried the burger with a crab cake on top and he gave it two thumbs up. We will be back to try more. Good selection of beers.

Sasquatch Jack's is a blessing for Waverly and the surrounding community. The owners and lead staff have been in the business for years, they treat guests like family, and they show everyone a fantastic time. The food is marvelous, the service is lightning fast, and the atmosphere is first-rate. I recommend the commute from any distance for a guaranteed five star experience. My review was conducted based on an average of two visits per week during the first month in which the business was open.

For an appetizer, we had the cheese logs with pepperjack cheese. They are quite large, almost the size of breadsticks.
Had the Mac and cheese, and it was good too.
Resturaunt looks nice and has a bar section and table section.

Seriously. Wow. The BEST onion rings I have ever had..... Then my tenderloin came out...... And it was phenomenal! We had a party of 7 and every one of us loved their food. We'll definitely be back. Thanks!!

We just moved to this area and found this place while we were connecting too our new pharmacy next door. The waitress was amazing and the food was absolutely fantastic!!!!

Let me first start by saying I have yet to have anything other than an amazing experience at this establishment. The food, atmosphere, staff, pricing, and flavor have always been top quality. Today's experience started at 12:30 at the start of the lunch rush. The Host said to the small group ahead of me that it would be a 20 minute wait, upon a quick glance at the dinning room that seems fair. They were quickly seated after only 5 minutes roughly and then another group of two came in after I had given my name. I only waited roughly another 5 minutes then was asked to follow the host. They seemed to be a little understaffed, but this does not deter them from delivering top quality service which is impressive. Then after about a minute I was asked what I wanted to drink, to which I asked for a sample of LeinenKugel Summer Peach, I was served the sample and then bought a full glass because for being a non-beer drinker myself it was really good! Then I ordered fish and chips. It came out after about 15 minutes, again this was very prompt for being so busy. My fish was expertly fried, the breading was seasoned to perfection and the coleslaw was immaculate! My fries were not in the basket initially because of a minor misstep in the kitchen and obviously wasn't a big deal because the fish a very generous serving and in two piece so I told the owner who came out to apologies and help alleviate the staff issue that I was not worried. He thanked me for understanding and then bustled off. My bill was under $30 dollars and for the amount of food I recieved and the quality that is a steal! This is a place that if your casually dressed you will fit right in, but if it is more dressy casual then still good! If your in Waverly and need a bite to eat please go to this establishment and order anything off the menu and be prepared to have a truly wonderful dining experience.

If you're in Waverly, you definitely need to try Jack's. Food is incredible - delicious, great portion size, good variety. I highly recommend the jumbo Jack Bites for an appetizer!

In town for a high school basketball game and wanted somewhere local to eat. We made the right choice. I had a burger, it was outstanding, my wife had chicken and she loved it. My son had a steak and said it was great. The onion rings are breaded on site and my son raved about the green beans.
