Dubuque Pediatric Dentistry

They've been able to schedule all 4 of my kids for back to back appointments, several times, and are always so nice and courteous! My oldest deals with sensory issues, but has always had a positive experience here! None of my kids have ever been scared or upset by their visits. So glad to have them get their dental work done by such a great dentist and staff!

Dr. Steve is amazing! All 3 of my children adore him! Trust me I have seen at least a dozen pediatric dentists. He has made going to the dentist FUN for my children. They’re upset with one another when it’s not their day to see him! Amazing work, great attitude with kids. His entire staff is amazing. You’re extremely lucky if you can be a patient of his.

Dr. Steve and his staff are nothing but amazing. My children love going there to see him and especially Kim who is in the front office. Dr. Steve makes going to the dentist fun and exciting!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Steve and his whole staff! Not only do they do great work, but they're also compassionate, patient and always going out of their way to make sure my kids are getting the best possible care, even in challenging situations.

I wish when I was a kid I had a dentist like Dr Steve! I have been there many times with both of my children and the experience never ceases to amazing me. The entire staff is engaging the kids with toys, laughter, and empathy: something that goes a long way for children who dislike going to the dentist. The entire staff embodies Dr Steve with the positivity and overall caring for each patient. I met Dr Steve before taking my children there and boy am I happy our paths crossed! One of the most genuine people you could ever meet!

Dr. Steve is hands down the best dentist around, wish I could go to him myself! He is so patient with the kids and makes going to the dentist fun.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Just finished up getting a crown for my 10 year old. This is after a 6 month failed ordeal with another dental office who was unsuccessful dealing with my son's reaction to dental work. Dr. Steve should be giving seminars to other dentists on how to handle kids. He and his staff did an amazing job on my son's teeth and my son left happy.

I was so nervous to take my kids to the dentist as my daughter can tend to get really worked up I thought it was going to be really rough. But the assistants had my kids laughing from beginning to end. And when Dr. Leifker was working with my youngest and she wouldn't sit still, he started singing Disney songs and she was mesmerized for the whole process. I could not believe how good they are with kids. We will definitely be sticking with them!

Now that there is a new Doctor on staff this is a great place to go! Love Dr. Natalie and her staff is so NICE!!! They are also the only pediatric board certified in Dubuque which is why they are the active pediatric dentists at Mercy and Finley hospitals. If you want the best trained for your child, this is the place. I do agree that Dr. Fred Cheung needed some help with social skills, but I have not seen him around the office at all any more and you can choose not to schedule with him if he is still around.

The assistants are so good. My 4 year old hates going. But the assistant had her smiling and laughing she even got to Squirt the water. After she was done she got a little red race car because she hopes to get one her size for Christmas..

My kids love going here. They were afraid of going to a dentist but Dr. Leifker is amazing with children. He makes them laugh and feel comfortable going there. Would highly recommend this place to all!

I've been going here for almost two years and my kids love coming here and going to the dentist isn't a issue anymore! Not only that but when the staff sang frozen to entertain my daughter during a filling she loved it😊 Dr. Steven Leifker your amazing and have a really good singing voice 😊
