I needed to fill out a change of address form and pick up a package from the Waverly Post Office. Denise was the lady who helped me and she was so friendly and helpful! The other lady was Mallory and she was also really friendly to the customers. They greeted everyone that came in with a smile. Just wanted to share because I saw poor reviews from several people and I thought that these 2 ladies deserve some positive recognition.

I had to mail packages of Christmas gifts, and it was obvious they were incredibly busy. This did not stop them from giving great service (including letting me see ALL the stamps!) and not rushing through the process. The personal touch was definitely present. Thank you!

I have found the staff at our local post office to be very helpful especially during the last year with the. downsizing of the USPO. They have found mail lost in St.Louis in excellent time. Also very helpful forwarding my mail during a vacation.

My husband and I recently shipped our belongings overseas. The mail workers were such a great help from start to finish!

I've been mailing several packages a day for the last couple weeks. The speed of service, and the help provided by the clerks has been excellent. I just wish they'd paint the ugly railing next to the side walk. Man that's an eyesore.

Couldn't use any tape unless I bought it. It's never a pleasant experience going here, just unavoidable sometimes.

Whomever delivered my boxes on Dec 19th needs to reevaluate if they want to deliver packages for a living. Dropped in the snow at the end of the driveway is unacceptable.

I received a notification that my package was delivered, I waited a little bit before I called the post office, I even checked on website to track package, it said package was left in mailbox. It was not in my mail box and I knew the package would be too big to fit in there anyway so I called the post office. Mary answered and tracked my package she told me it was in my mailbox. I told her it was not. She put me on hold and came back and said ma'am it's in your mail box. I said no, I have a mail slot and mail comes in on my porch. It's not there. She told me she was going to come look ???? Never once did she come to my door to "look" or talk to me but I did see her go around the neighborhood looking in others mailboxes. Even though I explained to her it wouldn't fit in a mailbox. I later called her and she told me she came to my door which she did not. I have 3 cameras and I was on the porch the whole time. She never came to talk to me. She then told me would call me when the mail carrier came back. She never did. She was pretty much calling me a liar telling me the carrier did deliver a package and it was not in a big package. One of two things I ordered was a rug and she told me a rug was never delivered but something else was. No nothing was delivered. Was very rude and short with me very poor customer service. The next day, the mail carrier rang my bell and handed me the package herself, it went to the wrong address. Which happens and I was fine with that. It was definitely a rug and my other item and too big for a mailbox. The mail carrier was very sweet and I am thankful for her. The post master Mary did not need to be rude and make me feel stupid. I knew what I was talking about and knew nothing was delivered to me.

I was very disappointed when I went to the post office today. I just moved to my first EVER apartment in Waverly and I was confused on the package aspect. I ordered something off tik Tok and must have forgotten to put the apartment number so it got sent to the post office. When I asked them what I did wrong the lady (I think her name was Mary or something with a M) rudely explained to me that I didn't put the apartment number on the delivery and so it got sent to them. The lady was very rude when telling me that, and said if it happens again, then it will be returned. I was so upset because this is my first apartment and I'm still trying to figure out everything. In addition to rudely explaining the apartment number situation she also was very rude when explaining additional questions I asked. I was very nice when I asked them what I did wrong and I did not appreciate being talked to the way I did. I understand if people are having a bad day but it's no excuse to be rude and treat other people like that. I work in a nursing home and I've had plenty of bad days, but I always speak nice to others even if I'm frustrated. Very disappointing and upsetting makes me never want to come there again.

Cannot believe the arrogance and rudeness of the post mistress. Asked to speak with post mistress. She was busy and I said I would wait. I was talking with the counter agent when she walked up and never acknowledged me or introduced herself. Her demeanor portrayed boredom and annoyance. There was never any attempt to provide assistance. I was trying to locate a package that USPS tracking indicated.was sitting g in Waterloo for the past 12 days. All she could say was that I was rude and she was not going to argue with me. Mary (her staff were not allowed to provide a last name) has no clue what customer service means. I worked in the corporate world for 25-30 years. If one of my staff talked to a customer like that, they would be looking for a new job!

Deliver AmazonDDU packages was told couldn’t use rest room, huh? I have been delivering to post offices for different locations and states all of them welcome use of their restroom, wonder if skin tone was the reason they refused.

I had one package coming from amazon yesterday(Friday). Later I received text from amazon saying delivery attempted, no one was home! Even though someone was home! So I had to leave early from work to pick up package before they close. And I mentioned that to the lady there while picking up package that someone was home and I don't think anyone knocked on the door. Today(Saturday) another package was coming from amazon, and guess what same thing happened! Does mail person don't know how to read numbers or what? Someone is home today also. Now I have to wait until Monday and leave work early again just to pick up that mail, instead it should have been delivered at my house today since someone was home! Yes I live in apartments and there is more than one building but all the buildings have numbers. If person knows to read numbers, this shouldn't have happened. It's ridiculous!!

What is wrong with this post office? Do they just not want to deliver mail? Are they confused about what a post office does? It's a public service. People need to start reporting them because they have no idea what they are doing.

Not a single visit to the store has ever resolved an issue that the deliveryman has created as a result of his unwillingness to do his job.
