MercyOne North Iowa Obstetrics & Gynecology

I have gone there for both my pregnancies and had Doctor Deborah. I absolutely love him and his nurses. I always schedule with him. I definitely recommend him. There were a few doctors I had to see instead at times and they were amazing as well. I just can't remember their names. :) Overall, I love the whole clinic so far.

I really like this medical office. Made me feel comfortable and well informed. EAST Village Foot and Ankle small nice home feel nurses Doctors there are 2 Dr's. And the receptionist.

I drive an hour to my appointments. Every time I come the doctor is always behind at least 30-45 minutes. I have asked why they don’t call to inform patients. Never get clear answer. However after observing the young ladies chatting and talking up a storm on more than one occasion seems to me they are more focused on not doing their job. Not sure I’ll be keeping this doctor and coming here. Driving an hour is inconvenient enough but waiting longer every time is not convenient at all!

Was scheduled for an induction for Thursday, was called while on my hour drive that it was canceled. Absolutely no communication to when I would be induced as clearly there's a medical reasoning to why I'm being induced. Was told to wait for a call. I NEVER received one and as of writing this still haven't received one. I asked for a plan when I called in again was told they were busy and didn't have room for me. Would get a call when there was room. Absolutely horrible communication, by both shift charge nurses. I will NEVER GO BACK AND I HOPE YOU HEAVE WARNINGS. This place is awfully ran. Please find someone who cares about you, this place definitely does not care about anything but a paycheck.

I wish I could give zero stars. I’ve lost 2 babies and have been TTC for over 6 years. I went in for my first appointment and was told I would be prescribed metformin to help my insulin resistance. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN IT. 4 months later and appointment after appointment never got the help I needed to lose some weight so I can sustain a pregnancy. I’ve done everything they wanted but they won’t prescribe the one thing they said will work. Never go here. You’ll just spend your life savings and never get a result.

Was scheduled for Thursday, aftre 40 min drive when i was (on time) there they said it was canceled the called which i called day before and conformed.

Was a great place when Dr Thorn was there now ethics and decency is out of the window. Horrible service and no compassion!!!
