Athletico Physical Therapy - Mason City East

Everyone here does a great job and they really care about you as a person, not just a client. Todd and Dillon were very knowledgeable and helped me recover from a super tough surgery! The variety of exercises that they do keep it from being repetitive/boring, and make it easy to continue at home. I am so grateful to them! I hope that I don’t need therapy in the future, but if I do, I know where I am going!!!

After injuring both of my shoulders (rotator cuffs) my Dr sent me to see Todd at Alhletico. He had me do numerous exercises to strengthen both shoulders prior to having surgery on one of them. After having the surgery done I went back and started the rehab. It went very well and I believe it was because of all the things they had me do. Also worked with Katelyn, everyone I encountered there was wonderful. THANKS 😊

I wish that I had known about this place years ago! I was originally referred for my shoulder. I was so impressed with the care and happy with the results, that I ended up continuing therapy for my lower back. Todd & Dillon are professional, friendly & knowledgeable and made me feel 100% comfortable. This is a great team of people and I highly recommend anyone who is even thinking about PT to check out Athletico on the East side of MC.

Athletico East is the place to go when needing physical therapy! Amanda is a welcoming presence at the front door & great at scheduling. Sean & Dillon were great at listening to my concerns, evaluating my needs for therapy, giving educated advice on care & teaching me exercises. This helps me now & in the future. The team seems to work well together, are friendly & encouraging to all & just fun to work with. That's the best medicine to want to get better! Thank you!

Just finished 4 weeks of physical therapy. While the PT wasn't always enjoyable, I found that the staff was. Very personable and caring. Many thanks to Katelyn and Todd!

I saw Matti Munger at the Athletico on S. Illinois for recurring neck pain that I have had for years. I was scheduled for 2 test runs to be approved to do a Neck ablation. Just days before it was scheduled, I learned that now insurance also requires 4 sessions of PT. I wasn't happy & thought it wasn't going to help, especially 4 sessions. I was very wrong! Just learning some stretches made it feel much better & would help some of my posture issues. It has helped me so much with the headaches especially si ce the procedure kept getting pushed out. The ablation is only temporary so I am so glad I have the tools in place when it comes back PLUS Matti was amazing. Made it easy, so I didn't have to go out & buy a stretching for Dummies book. She was very knowledgeable & very nice. They also have an app now thst really helps! The whole staff was friendly & professional. Really felt like the all truly enjoyed what they were doing & cared for their patients. Made something that I didn't think would help or didn't want to do, a much better experience. Thank you Matti & the rest of the Athletico staff.

Katelyn and Maddie were my lifeline through my knee replacement therapy. Their loving encouragement and expertise and advice kept me going. I am really glad I chose Athletico East for my therapy!

I had total knee replacement in early December and started therapy 2 days later. I was assisted by Matti & Katelyn who were both very helpful in my recovery. An extremly friendly and professional environment and would highly recommend. I will definately return when I have my other knee replaced.

I had to come back to athletico to get strength training. Todd, Kaitlyn, matti and Dillon did a great job. Very professional and know how to get you back on your feet. I would recommend athletico for all your physical therapy sessions. Thanks Frank

I highly recommend Athletico to anyone in need of PT. Matti was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and also very patient with my many questions. I left there feeling confident that I would be able to continue doing my exercises at home correctly, which was very important to me. I cannot say Enough good about the treatment and the staff here. not only do they care about what you're doing but they care about your time, they care about your progression comma they care about your budget comma and they care about giving you treatment that works for you period patient-centered care is evident in every single interaction that you see in the office. I primarily worked with Todd, and he is such a Down to Earth, well educated, well spoken individual that regardless if you know Medical terms or you don't he will break it down so that you understand everything he's talking about. If I were to have an injury that needed treatment again I would definitely return here. I didn't walk away with just treatment but also with tools/tips/ etc to use if I had problems in the future.

My mother who is elderly went there and she had physical therapy. They were wonderful with her. They helped her very much. And was really nice with her! Very courteous and was patient with her.

I highly recommend the good people that work in this physical therapy business. I so appreciate how they listen to your concerns and do their best to address them. I have been going to Athletico for my PT after my total shoulder surgery. I have very little pain at 3 months post op and I am able to do most everything I want to do with my shoulder. Todd & Dillion were pleasant and kind to work with and Amanda great to schedule me as it worked with my schedule. I enjoyed going to Athletico and getting stronger each visit.

I have been to Athletico twice this year. I had opportunity to work with Dillan and Mattie. They both helped me out with my problem. They are both knowledgable and very professional. They worked with me while i was in the office and sent me home with sheets of instructions to do when i am home. They also made sure that i understood what needed to be sccomplished by the time i was done with therapy.
I would reccommend them to anyone that needed therapy.

Todd, Katlynn and Dillion got my strength, flexibility, and mobility back after I had major spine surgery. Very positive and uplifting experience. I am stronger now than before surgery.
