The staff are all musicians and very helpful friendly people. If they don’t have it they will special order. I’ve purchased new and used instruments and equipment and never disappointed!

This was my first visit to Ikes. I came in looking for a keyboard- I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but I knew I'd be walking out with one. The store had a really nice variety to choose from, and all were plugged in and playable. There were both new and used options. The people working there were friendly, extremely helpful, and not pushy whatsoever. Prices were reasonable. I absolutely love my new keyboard!

The only place I go for setups, repairs, strings, accessories and advice/criticism 😁. Great people that know gear and act in your best interest with honest information. Prices on new guitars and gear is always competitive. A fun place to browse. Huge selection of acoustic and electric guitars and a great place to consign gear.

Amazing place to shop, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I went in to buy a capo and just so happened to mention I was looking at changing up my setup. I was shown a variety of guitars in my price range along with amps. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area

I stopped in the store to get some drum hardware and was truly amazed by the amount of hard Ware they had got everything I needed and more great prices will be back to buy more and the friendly staff very helpful!!!!

Came to uncle Ike's from out of town. Having hunted for the perfect 12 string in my budget, he finally had the one. Picked it out, got it all set up and out the door. Friendly group with fantastic service. Would definitely recommend. Wide selection too! Everything from guitars to drums to pianos and bongos..you name it!

Very professional, very helpful staff, they helped me NOT spend a bunch of money with them because it would have been the wrong choice for me. I absolutely plan on going back and making future purchases through them.

As a little background, I work in sales and I have for several years now.

I can't tell you how much I despise the slicked-hair salesmen routine when you can tell the guy will tell you anything just to get you to buy the guitar.

On the opposite side of that, it's awesome when you find someone who has a true passion for what they are selling.

The later is what you'll find at Uncle Ike's. I'm not sure who the name of the gentleman was who helped me (I think it might have been Kevin?), but he was an older guy but boy does he love guitars.

I should briefly digress and say that I wrote to their email address online, and heard back from them *within an hour*. Talk about awesome customer service!

As I was telling him a bit about what I was looking for, he armed me with a TON of knowledge about each guitar we looked at. He took me through the very basics of what features of the guitars differentiate the pricing, and then gave me a ton of background of the companies. His knowledge seemed endless. He knew where every guitar factory was, what kind of guitars come out of there, what era each guitar was popular in, and so on. He was completely content to talk to me for almost an hour going over everything.

One of my favorite things was that he couldn't seem to keep his hands off the guitars! Every time he was talking about one, he would pull it down, jam out on it just a little bit while we were talking to give me an idea of the sound.

He never once asked about my price range or anything, and seemed more interested in teaching me about guitars in general which was great. I could have been a well-informed buyer anywhere I went after I stopped into Uncle Ike's, but of course I wanted to take my business there.

It's rare to find a great salesperson in most places, but certainly go to Uncle Ike's if you're interested in finding the right guitar. The staff there was awesome, and made me feel completely confident in my purchase.

I love my new guitar! Now I just have to find a name for it...

They have a good variety of cheap and expensive guitars.

Great store, great service, every time I go in I come out with something I can't live with out. Staff is very knowledgeable. Their selection of guitars is excellent .

If 6 stars were an option, I would leave that. I just got my 70 year old Epiphone tuned up, plays like its brand new now (thanks Jim!). I highly recommend the service shop here. And if their service dept is that good, you know they know their equipment, so buying from Uncle Ikes is the right move. A long time ago, Kevin set up a payment system (I was only 14) so a broke kid could learn guitar. He took a chance on me when he let me leave with my new classic white Peavy Raptor with triple pick ups and a whammy bar with only a $50 down. His trust was an inspiration so my part time teenage jobs paychecks went right towards paying him back. Words cant describe how much that still means to me. Thanks for the gift of music, Kevin. I've been enjoying it for the 21 years since.

Great staff period. Helpful and very nice, took guitar lessons here for years and loved every minute of it. highly reccomended even if you just want to start getting into music like I did!!

This is the best music store I’ve ever been to, very customer service based and will help you with any and all questions you may have. I can’t recommend this place enough to veteran musicians and absolute beginners alike.

I have bought a Epiphone Bass Guitar, and Case, A peavey predator II Special, a Epiphone Les Paul Case, an off Name Brand Guitar, and gig bag all from Uncle Ike's Music, They are experienced, and Professional, The Guitars come set up and ready to play, This is used equipment and very reasonably priced, That being said, I can't speak for the new equipment sales but if they do that good for old used, you can be sure they will do the same for new.

I have spoke to them on the phone and bought via web, I live in Missouri. They have fast shipping and pack well, I have only one very small complaint if you can call it that and that is some of their listings have the wrong pictures on ebay and their personal site as well but it does not affect other areas so I still give them 5 stars, just think they need to smack their web designer around a little.
