Awesome staff. Site was beautiful and quiet (besides the highway traffic noise, which is like white noise to me). Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We felt very safe here. Pet friendly! Loved our stay! Thanks from Wisconsin!

Although the sites were pretty packed and didn't have sewer hookups, we enjoyed our three night stay at this campground.

The river is nice, and the kids really enjoyed the unusual bike rentals. The lack of sewer was made up for by well kept (although very hot) bath houses. The staff was excellent and the camp served as a great launchpad for our exploration of Fargo which surprised me as being a really fun city to visit.

Given everything previously stated I'd have generally given 4 out of 5 stars. But the low cost of camping here sealed the five-star deal.

Someone at the Fargo Parks Department knows what they are doing. The campground is located within a pristine, new, expansive park. Yes, as other reviews have said, the campground area could be updated with improved blacktop and more level sites. But, the location is beautiful, if you get a site down by the river. And, the online reservation system was easy to use and accurate. Worth a stay!

Elizabeth was fantastic to work with. The shower house is beautifully kept.

The RV parking spots are pretty close together, but I suppose that’s normal.

This campground offers paid dump station for passing RV. As of today it was $5 for dumping with non drinkable water.
Thank you for the honest price for that dump station.

Pop-up camper. Small sites but the park has much to offer. Great for a quick overnight stop. Along the interstate, so significant traffic noise.

DO IT!! Stayed in site A-1, right by office on upper loop, not by freeway noise. Also stayed in the site across from it two weeks later. Came from Northern North Dakota for a VA appointment & found this place by mistake. Amazing park, well kept grounds, nice shower house. Would have felt more comfortable if the doors had codes on them! I like to have my campsite quiet & we go inside if we’re not having a fire. The sites away from the office, like the loop by the river especially, get a little rowdy, especially on the weekends. The spots by the freeway are LOUD 24/7 as it’s right there & there’s an interchange as well, so engine brakes, bumping music & loud vehicles are LOUD to me as I’m a light sleeper (hence pulling my own hotel room behind me)! The staff is extremely nice & accommodating & I ❤ This place.... if I can get a good spot.

Nice campground with spacious sites on pavement. Right on the river with a good size park around us. Nice bike trails along the river and all around town. Because it’s early in the season, the public restrooms are not all open. Plenty of picnic areas and shelters, even a playground and bike rental. Walking around the park you would not think that you’re in the middle of a big city. We’re staying here mostly for the Fargo Marathon and will be back for it next year.

Very nice campground. Our site had a view of the river. The grounds are well kept, has a very nice walkpath. The walkpath takes you around the whole grounds, about half a mile or more. If we ever get back here we will come back to this place.

Very nice campground. Lovely forested area with walking trails. You can rent 3 wheeled bikes or pedal cars. Saw a deer run through the park today. Will definitely come here again.

We stayed here on night. We road our bikes all over town on their extensive bike trails. We were right next to the river. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed this campground. It's very pretty, right on the river. The bathrooms can definitely be a bit of a hike, depending on which campsite you have. And I would definitely recommend using the bathrooms connected the the office area, MUCH cleaner and nicer 😊

Best park in the FM area because this park has everything. Wooded areas, playground for the children, baseball fields, camping places, river fishing, bike rentals, bike paths, grilling areas, open space, and on and on.
