A large shaded playground, walking trails by the water, sand volleyball court, and lots of open space. Lots of runners and dog walkers here. The mature trees mean lots of shade and you totally forget that you’re in the middle of town. Our kids love this playground. We discover something new each time, and it is mostly well maintained. I would love to see a remodel some day that includes more accessible options, similar to the park in West Fargo. There’s plenty of space here for it!

Fun park for the kids. Beautiful trees and open spaces with a parking lot. Easy access from I94 for a quick stop for kids to run some energy off if you are on a road trip. The kids loved racing to be first out of the maze.

Always a clean fun place for all ages .great family place . A place to bring your kiddos for a day or even just to wind down at the end of the day. Also very pet friendly and I don't have pets. Always clean. So much to do in one place. My kiddos have made so many friends just here alone and I myself have made a few !

Gooseberry is a great space to just relax. It has a huge pavilion for large gatherings. There's a playground along with huge open green space. The park also has one of the areas best MTB/ bike trails. There's much more to the park than what you see, although it isn't huge. Take your time to explore.

Gooseberry Mound Park was a treat in that it had a pedestrian bridge that crossed over into North Dakota. So of course we had to go.

Beautiful wide open park next to the river with walking paths. The main picnic shelter is huge and great for a BBQ. I planted trees there today and it's everything a park should have. A sizeable playground would keep your kiddos busy for hours.

Perfect location for wedding photos. There is a large shelter, plenty of short and tall evergreen trees, and it's connected to Lindenwood Park by a walking bridge.

Beautiful park, great place to ride your bike. Connects to Lindenwood park and has a bridge that you can fish off. If you like church, they even had a Sunday service! Great idea to bring families together and bbq.

Plenty of parking! The restrooms were what you would expect from a park. Clean and simple.

Love this park. The location removes you from the day-to-day grind. Large open land for football, soccer, freebie, or a picnic and a game of catch. With the river splitting the park you can cross to the other side with ease by way of a bridge and 60 sec you have changed states. But you would never know this by looking around. I very much enjoyed riding my bike and exploring the parks. Wildlife is an exciting extra the park offers. I grew up in S. Georgia N. Florida. I never thought I would find a place that could remove the city and at the same time offer a place to do every outdoor activity. Walk run ride sunbathes bird watch even get your feet wet in the river. When it gets cold out snow is on the ground and Christmas coming fast. You can relax and enjoy the 45 min drive throw the park as you sing Christmas songs and look at the lights. Gooseberry Mound Park is as close to my woods back home in Tallahassee FL as I can find. With music playing in my ears and the wind on my face as I explore the park time melts away and just like that 6 hours have passed and I have to return to the noise and grind of the city around me.

An OG FM place to be 😎 Dog and people friendly! The view of the Red River from the bridge is spectacular, especially at sunrise/sunset.

A large naturally blessed area for walking yourself or with any company be it be your pets or children or friends….. All trees are dried at the time because of winter and snow everywhere. Might be tricky on icy path, walk carefully so that you won’t fall and hurt. Frozen river when seen from the bridge…Hope to see its best version in summer 😊

I can't say anything as I was just out for a walk. I don't have any kids I'm raising now, but the park looks pretty ideal for a " yute " of any energetic young age who so happens to find themselves upon such a castle of extraordinare. I can imagine legions over running it one year, and peasants tending to the flocks with strange care on other occasions. You be the next author of galactic wonder, or a game of tag setting in appocolyptic winter. All those stories and more, start on a playground just like this one, as a kid being a kid. Get out and enjoy what you may discover. They probably will sleep better at night. 😉

It is an amazing park for all ages. It has cool older vintage stuff and newer additions. Worth the stop! Even has a maze!

Had a great time. Tried to make a day of it.... , got cold and went back to the castle. Wrong time of year. Very beautiful place that makes everything look and feel better if only for a moment. Now that I think about it, I'm gonna need to get back there real quickly. A nice place to take a time out and reset. Give the feeling that you still have a chance and that your heart didn't get torn out and discarded. Nice and quiet place to relax and pretend that life is gonna be ok and that you won't always be alone in the world. Nice and tranquil place to sit a while and pretend that every woman on earth won't be a basket case and that someday you may be happy or at least content while your watching time go be while by yourself doing time wasting reviews online and pretending all is well and you'll be apreciated again someday. Also, its a nice place to walk and take in some quiet time......kinda the same lonely , quiet time that some of us have 24/7 and slowly drives a person crazy. Just saying. Great place.

Great place to meet with friends and family for a walk, picnic, or swim. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful park in the city! The fountain was beautiful with various flower beds in the area, and the whole park was very clean and tidy. Fun trails off to the side for hiking also. Be careful swimming, and definitely scope out the water before bridge jumping to make sure there is no debris!

Nice, wide open park. Lots of grassy gentle mounds that make me wish I was a kid again. Which reminds me, it has a nice playground too. And a place to rinse your feet or water your dog. Some nice picnic areas, one in particular is very large, covered and quite impressively placed. There's a really big dip on your way in, but the road is very smooth and great for runners. I haven't used the footbridge to Lindenwood Park, but I can't wait to try it.

This park features a dated but thoroughly enjoyable play ground for kids near a single but large pavilion for large-group picnics and gatherings. The playground include a wide variety of play sets, including a walking maze, a "lay back" see-saw, a tilted monkey bar spinner, and more! Plenty of parking is available, as well.
