The bed was wonderful. Pool was so warm and nice for exercise after a long day of driving. The hot tub was hot enough to live up to its name. Breakfast was so good. Just missed hit chocolate. Service was friendly all the time. Location easy to get to.

Not to bad, although the manager/ bar manager has a disgusting attitude and needs to leave, the bar was suppose to open at 5pm however the they didn't open till after 7:30pm.
No room service to speak of and swimming pool broke down and wasn't repaired and we left a day early.
The plus points are the assistant manager who was brilliant and a handful of others were ok.
Wouldn't go back with that manager running things

We were treated incredibly well by Cari. She helped us with feedback and directions for a local place to eat, and was so considerate in many ways. We definitely recommend this Ramada.

From the time I walked in the Ramada from the -7 degrees temperature outside I was greeted with a warm friendly smile from Manny who worked at the front desk. When a hotel say let them know if there is anything that they can do to make your stay more comfortable... Manny truly lived up to that statement. I'm from the south and not compatible with the North winter temperatures. I actually needed help with moving around in the area for certain items I needed the hotel doesn't have a shuttle service, but Manny made sure that I was able to get the things I needed. And he also made sure that my room was warm enough because the temperature dropped usually low that night so he made sure that I had a space heater to keep my room at a comfortable temperature.. I can write much more of how helpful Manny was to me and how he actually saved me from an uncomfortable stay in North Dakota.. I would and will stay there again if I'm in the area, and I'm definitely going to tell my co-workers about my stay at the Ramada so that they will know where to stay when there in Grand Forks

The staff was exceptional, especially Francesca (I believe that was her name) at the front desk. She was so welcoming and kind. Rooms were clean and the pool and hot tub were very nice.

My wife needs a recliner to sleep on, they said they had one. She was so impressed with how comfortable it was.
Our entire experience here was very good. Next time we visit this will be the place we stay.

Great customer service!! The restaurant does a great job for all meals. Has a bar and lounge that serves food if you wish. Big swimming for all sizes to play and relax. Close to the interstate if you want a quick run down to 32nd Ave for shopping. Good people. Honest. Has just been remodeled all rooms. Everything!! Great rates.

Great hotel with an unbelievable staff. Our plane got stranded unexpectedly in Grand Forks and a huge group of us last minute booked rooms. They were ready and waiting for us to check in and staff stayed late so we could eat from their restaurant (which has very good food) and have a few cocktails at the bar which is spacious with music playing, tv and a pool table. This all was so appreciated after a very long day of being stranded on a run way! The greatest thing about this hotel hands down though is the manager, Amanda! We all have to be to the airport by 5 am and the shuttle doesn't start until 7 AND there are only like 4 cabs in town so there is no way we were all getting to the airport on time! Amanda offered to come back at 4 a.m. on her day off to shuttle us to the airport so we can catch our flights. Now that is the most exceptional customer service I have ever received! Thank you, Amanda and your entire staff!

To the people complaining about staff becoming rude when their children started acting up - maybe you should control your children, then other people wouldn't have to. My girlfriend and I were there that weekend, and we saw those kids destroying hotel property and harassing other guests in the hallways.

We have stayed twice now and love it. Wonderful warm pool and a hot tub that is actually hot. Cookies in the lobby and a restaurant. Lots of places for the dogs to walk. They also have milk bones and poop bags at the front desk.

I'm giving this 5 stars for various reasons.

This is an older hotel. You're not getting a perfect 5 star room. However, I am not picky and needed a place for the night. Having said that, this was my experience:

My car broke down on the I29 10 minutes outside of town. I was able to get it to the hotel and have a poolside room for the night ( I have a 12 year old). He swam and did his thing. Kinds always love the extra vacation day. And this is how the staff went above and beyond:

#1. I needed some milk and they gladly got some from the kitchen for me. I can't remember his name but he was very friendly and very helpful. Jack? I think that's him.

#2. The next morning I made a bunch of phone calls to get my car repaired and was able to get it in by 8:30am but had no idea when it would be finished. I approached the front desk at roughly 10:45am and said I'm from out of town, car is broken down and being repaired, can we please hang out until it is fixed, the answer was an easy yes. Which made sense since it was a Monday and there was lots of capacity but regardless they were quick to accommodate. I don't remember her name (never looked) but it was Monday January 13th at 11am.

#3. My car was fixed by noon and by 1:00pm we checked out. We got home to find out we left a piece of luggage in the lobby. Ugh. What else could go wrong with this trip? I called the hotel when we realized we left it there in the lobby and of course they had it. And this is where someone went WAY WAY above and beyond. We live only 2 hours from the hotel. I didn't want to drive back and the cost of shipping would be ridiculous over the border to Canada.

Cue RACHEL! (Who I have since read another review talking about how amazing she is) and she really is. Rachel explained to me that she had family visiting her from my city this upcoming weekend and coming back Sunday. She said as long as I was ok with leaving our luggage with a stranger that she would be happy to send the luggage back with her family member and that I could get it Sunday.

It's only Wednesday and none of this has happened but after reading Rachel's previous review and now experiencing this with her my wife and I could not be more confident that she will come through and also I couldn't be more satisfied in all the ways the staff have gone above and beyond to help us with what originally began with our car breaking down and a lot of pessimism.

We were stuck. We got a room. Poolside. My boy and I swam (very warm pool and hot tubs), they gave me milk, allowed us to extend our stay, and then plan to bring my luggage to me personally.

THANK YOU TO RACHEL, AND ALL YOUR STAFF FOR TRULY BEING AMAZING! I have already told the story many times already.

The building is older. It is what it is, but your staff are what made this a great, GREAT experience. Thank you RAMADA!

I can't say enough good things about the Ramada and its staff. They went far out of their way to assist us weary travelers who got stuck in Grand Forks. From providing us with toiletries, running the bar and serving food, staying past their planned scheduled time and more, these folks were so kind and caring. Hotel Manager Mike Smith and Amanda even got up at 4am and shuttled all of us to the airport in their personal vehicles because there were no shuttles or cabs. I can't believe how caring these people were for a bunch of strangers.

Ramada was wonderful! We were there for a wedding reception and also an overnight guest and had a great time. The rooms were nice and it was very affordable. They even had free breakfast! 👍 We'll be coming back!

What an awesome place to get away from it all with your significant other for a couple nights. What's better than that, is having the best BBQ joint in town just feet away. 🤌

Had our wedding reception here. Amy was very accommodating and so happy we choose Ramada and got to work with her. Seriously went the extra mile. I was missing my bride for and couldn’t find her. I learned the next day my sister dress ripped open. So my wife held her hand while Amy sowed it back together.

Thank you Amy for making our day go perfect! 👌🍩🎉🍾🍻👏👏

Surprisingly nice. Comfortable lobby. Great, helpful, fun staff. In hotel bar and restaurant is a plus, although limited hours. Very retro. Comfortable. I would stay again.
