Beautiful fall day when we were here. Me without my fishing gear as well. Drove around a bit just checking out the dam and checking a few future fishing holes.

Located just South of Webster City Iowa off US-20 this Park is a Great retreat to visit. There are 3 modern cabins to rent along with many campsites. During October the fall colors are wonderful. Wildlife is plentiful which includes Deer and many birds species. Around the lake is a paved trail through the woods for morning walks or bike rides.

What a great and relaxing place. Fishing is also great and there are many places to find a Fishing spot.
Once it gets warmer hopefully we'll be catching bigger and better fish!!

Very nice paved path for walking my dogs. (Part of Boone River Recreational Trail) Unpaved hiking trails as well. Small lake perfect for kayaking. Shelters for picnicking, cabins, campgrounds, fishing jetties, small swimming area, waterfall, public golf course are all available, although I haven't taken advantage. Porta potties available spring, summer & fall.

Nice park, the beach and the bike trail bring me here often. The bike trail is a real plus, well maintained, the pavement is not cracked and there's plenty to see along the way. It has plenty of shade also.

This modest, unassuming park has some hidden beauty. There's a small lake great for boating and fishing. This lake empties down some waterfalls into the Boone river and there are some short paths that you can take there. Most recently, there has been the addition of bike racks that you allow you to rent with the use of the app and gain access to the Boone recreational trail. Not to mention, there's camping, a golf course, and access to the Boone with kayak and canoe rentals. I definitely recommend taking some time to check out this hidden gem. :)

Wow!!! We've been camping all over the U.S. and this is one of my favorite campgrounds. Lots of shade, plenty of room between each space, a beautiful lake, and lots of stuff to explore. Not sure I'm a fan of the reservation system but I'll do what it takes to stay here!!!

Went camping here & had an enjoyable time. You can hear traffic from highway 17 in the campground - so you can't get away from that. The walking & biking paths are very nice!

First time here was September 16th-18th 2022 and it is a nice place. My cousin got married on this weekend where the golf course is so hubby & I decided to camp at campground around the corner where wedding was and it's a nice place. The spot I reserved was AWEFUL due to walnuts bombing our camper but, camp host was AWESOME to let us move to another spot! I would camp here again.

First time going here. Easy to find. Took the kids for a hike and picnic. The falls are really cool. There are a few of them and the trail gets you to all of them. There are some pretty steep areas along the trail. We had to help the younger kids get through. They have lots of covered picnic table areas to have food. There are bathrooms. You can camp here in tents and campers. They also have cabins you can rent. There is a very nice gold course right there too.
