I ordered the chicken curry and a samosa today and it was stellar! I've always been impressed with Steers and now that they've changed to Chino Latino, the quality is still there!

Fast service, great prices, and perfect portions.

I was finally able to get the vegetarian curry meal and... wow! It was bursting with absolutely delicious flavor! My favorite part were the vegetarian samosas! There little triangles of yumm!! Do yourself a favor and give Steers a try.

Delicious, so happy to have truly authentic food in Grand Forks. My husband and I could not stop eating and saying how much we were enjoying! We will be back to try all the amazing items on the vast menu!

Liked their services and food was good. Price was up to the mark. Sambosa was so crispy Ow my god!.

The food was as amazing as always! Service was excellent-they were out of rice when we got there and were super apologetic and accommodating about it! My family loves this place and we can't wait to pick up food again soon!!

First time eating here, and the food taste great. The chef is friendly and welcoming. I tried their mango smoothie, and I loved it. I also like the fact that I could share it with my 14 months old because of the low sugar content. I regret not taking pictures. We will be visiting again.

We had the beef samosas, Lamb and the curry for lunch. Three of us had some of each and agreed it was all very good! Service was prompt and friendly and price was good too! Soda pop refills are not free but they accommodated due to us not knowing. Would recommend!

We were taken care of right away. We tried the garlic naan and Samosas for appetizers. Amazing! My hubby had the steak bites with rice and I had the curry with rice! Both awesome dishes. The staff was very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We will be going back for more soon!

The food is excellent for the price. The waiters are a bit disorganized, but they are really nice people. This is definitely one of those hidden gems in the area. If you think fine dining is just paying more for less, or if you want to have a wholesome in the middle of a long journey, add this place to your list of stops! You will not be disappointed! :)

They were out of Tikka, so I went with the Shawarma, which was excellent. Communication was quick, awesome, and they threw in some extra samosas to make up for it. Everything was fresh and amazing as usual! I have never had a bad experience with Steers and I’ve been a repeat customer, pretty much my favorite place in town. I always recommend Steers!

Each time I’ve eaten food from Steers it has been delicious, and we’ve had great service. The Curry and Mango Habenero Chicken are my current favorites and the rice is the best comfort food around. We appreciate that they also give back to the community a lot. Definitely try this amazing gem in our community!

So good!! Love this place! I frequently crave their rice and their chicken. We usually order the "dinner for three"; three meat choices and rice! Huge portion and easily shared among 3-6 people dependent upon how hungry you are. Last time I went I tried the tea and discovered how amazing that is too! Wonderful experience, tasty food, and friendly staff!!

The platter deals here are the best, we usually get anywhere from 4-8 servings out of them! Super kind hearted owners too, they tend to run out of the more popular chickens, but always go above and beyond to get new batches made in time for my takeout orders or make other accommodations. I could give endless compliments, everything about Steers is just incredible!

I have to say, I love this place. It was great food. All of it is cooked fresh. Walking out with a full belly.
The owner is super nice and great to chat with. He went out of his way to make sure the meal was beyond perfect.

Their food and chai tea are absolutely amazing! We had gyros and the Somali style pasta (both with lamb) and samosas for an appetizer and were blown away by the quality of food and large portions! Our server was also great, always checking in to make sure we were satisfied. I highly reccomend you give this place a try if you’re looking for a new place to eat. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Seriously, this food is GOOD AF! I have enjoyed every single thing I’ve tried. The family platters are a steal - not sure what to try? They will give you great recommendations! ⭐

The rice, Samosas, tikka, curry, mango habanero chicken...YUM! And don’t get me started on the gyros! I could eat one every day. Okay, let’s be honest, probably two. 🤷🏻‍♀ Can’t wait to go back.

Big portions. Low prices. Excellent service.

I tried take out from steer’s today as a change to my routine weekend cuisine of fried bar food. I was absolutely taken aback by the outstanding experience I had.

I know very little about Somali culture and food, so I ordered the names of dishes I was unfamiliar with as a means to broaden my horizons... it also was quite the thrill of the unknown.

Highly recommend trying steer’s. I will be ordering again.

Reviewed Steers years ago when they first opened and urged GF residents to give them a shot. Well thanks to MY REVIEW:-) (and probably a LOT of hardwork on behalf of the owners and employees) they seem to be a REAL HIT in GF!!! Congrats!
They ran a foodtruck at the Farmers Market this summer and we found out they had really expanded their menu with some amazing new dishes! Now they're back to their restaurant location and I was happy to see about a half dozen cars pull up to get takeout tonight when we picked up our food. There were a few issues with our order - we ordered online for pickup from their website - and some dishes were not available but this was handled quickly and well by one of their employees on site. They made generous accomodations and we left happy and the food is AMAZING! Combo of Somalian/Indian/Korean fusion? idk but it's good.
To summarize - Steers is doing some great stuff now! Dine in is available as well as takeout. Give them a shot - it's worth it!

Update: my wife recently became a vegetarian, and I was worried I wouldn't get to enjoy this place as often after looking through the online menu but I contacted them through the site with a couple of questions and got a response back within 20 minutes about their tofu and vegetarian options.

I love places like this. I've been here one time so far and it seems they cook a different set of dishes each day and you get to choose from them as opposed to ordering from a menu. I had lamb rib and a type of Curry with rice. Both were very good and I can't wait to go back.
