Triggs Bay Resort

The last 2 years we have rented a boat slip at Triggs when we come to Okoboji for vacation. Last year we had boat trouble and Triggs went above and beyond to help out, This year we had another unfortunate incident and Triggs was there to help out. Highly recommend Triggs, they are very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Simple, nice place to stay. Nothing fancy at all! And that was perfect for a quick, quiet getaway. We were there during the off-season, so it's super quiet. Operators are very nice people.

Cute room, fairly well supplied kitchenette was great, wish the ac could have been place under 72, overall everything considered if you're up here you shouldn't be inside for much more than sleeping. Nice location, pretty much in the middle of anything drive distance we did. Rented a pontoon here and the family had a blast with that. Has great fishing for the kids off the docks, swimming in the lake or pool, game room, etc. Kids were fully occupied anytime we were at Triggs. The part we found to be the most amazing was everyone here seemed to have frequented this location for years and most knew each other, the whole resort and people were super friendly and helpful! Hoping to come back!

Been going once a year every year since I've been born. Great time! Sometimes the beds are hard to sleep on.

Family has been coming here for the last 20+ years. Always a good time! Perfect location and simple pool with a great view of East lake.

We rented a pontoon and had a fantastic experience! The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we called with questions, through the easy reservation process and throughout our day of fun! The boat worked well and the tube was fun for the kids. The rates were better than any other place we checked. I seriously can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff were. I hope we get a chance to rent from them again.

We rented a large pontoon from Triggs Bay on a busy Saturday for the whole day. Reservations were very simple just a quick call and the price is much lower then most other places in Okoboji. It was my first time driving a pontoon and the guy who showed us the boat explained everything in detail and was very kind. He even went the extra mile and helped us get our giant floaty all tied up to bring along for the ride. When we returned it they were very helpful and even gave us a discount for bringing it back early. Every staff member we dealt with was 5 star in service. We didn't stay here but the resort itself looks picturesque. It's not a fancy mega hotel just a small and quaint motel on the lake. The pool was clean and has a great view. They have their own private beach for guests, and all the rooms seem to have a view of the lake. The parking was minimal but it's a small place so it appeared sufficient. Prices were very reasonable according to the brochure. The location is spectacular, right down the road from all the major bars and some fun restaurants. I will definitely be back to stay here in the near future.

This was our 5th year staying here. We love it! We have 3 little kiddos 6 and under. Their is something for everyone to do. Walking distance to Arnold's Park. Great use of space in the rooms!

Staying here for a cycling event in Sept so it was pretty quiet. It has an awesome little beach and boat access docks. The rooms are suite style with full sized fridge. There may have been a stove? Would definitely come back.

A family friendly resort. We didn't stay there but visited n rented kayaks and jety ski. Reasonable prices and a quiet cove to use them in away from heavy boat traffic. Great. Friendly staff. We had a kayak flip over way out and Ben was so gracious and ran to his side to help him ashore. A relief and comfort to know there was help. Recommend to families. And returning tomorrow.

We stayed mid September and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Nice, clean, safe 2 bedroom, kitchenette, good WiFi. Boat launch across the street and good parking. Very nice, attentive caretakers. We'd go back for sure!

We have only rented pontoons and wave runners from Twiggs but the service and rates are great! Ben took our reservations and oriented us to the lake and wave runners and that was much appreciated.

Our family has stayed here each summer for the last 20 years. Great family place! The staff is great. Updates are made yearly to the rooms and the resort.

Great resort with excellent customer service. Year end and year out these people have the most respectful kids helping them out. Not a common thing to these days!!! Hats off to this establishment.

Service was friendly and fast. Not a really large place but our wait was not long in spite of it looking busy. My meal was delicious and hot (salmon). I would recommend it and will go back there when visiting the area again.

Great family-owned and family-friendly resort! We've been coming here for years. Pool and playground for kids which is nice. Owners are wonderful.

We had a bachelor party at Triggs and they were fantastic. We had reserved a boat and when we arrived late they allowed us to keep the boat an extra hour. We will definitely return in the future.

Have been going for over 30 yrs, since i was a little kid....40 yrs old now and bringing my wife and kids and they love it as much as i do. Look forward to the the family atmosphere, incredible fishing and lakes summertime fun every year...see you in July!

Might possibly be my favorite place to be in the world. Makes everyone feel like a kid again at the lake. The same families go back year after year which make the nostalgia even more serial. I will almost recommend Triggs to anyone I meet.

It was a great stay, cheap, clean! Was awesome to walk out of the room and have my boat at the dock right in front of the room! Will be back!
