Great museum, my family and I were here on July 26th 2021 & my two children loved it so much. We were just passing by on a road trip to Glacier National Park from Michigan. We had fun, they are informative and very friendly. Very great staff. I would love to go back.. may be one day, who knows!

Great little museum!! Got lots of information from friendly staff and many questions answered:) Went on a 5 day dig through the museum with our awesome "Paleo-guide" Katie Tremaine. I drove from Canada for the experience and was not let down!! It was a great first hand experience of what it is like to be a paleontologist in the field, learned a lot and was great to be with like-minded people. I would highly recommend!

The young family that runs this museum was great! They were so friendly. I had all 5 of my littles 6 and under and everyone had so much fun looking at things! The museum is small but they looked like they were setting things up for my displays. Everyone walked out with a cute, inexpensive toy. Overall, we all had fun and would stop by again!

I went on the dig in 2023 with the director of the museum, Harris Boekenheide, and had the best paleontologist experience in my life! We discovered a site, excavated fossils, and had many learning experiences from identification and discovery of a site to jacketing and removal. For 1k a person for a week (with food and lodging included) this will allow any ameutur fossil hunter enjoy the aspects of paleontology!

Kelly, Dixie, and Hunter are AMAZING! We scheduled a micro dig for our son and it was amazing. We were educated and found some small yet fascinating fossils. If you know someone who wants to do a little something different the dig was so cool. My son, turns 9 in a week, had a blast. And I wanted to say the museum is so cool! It's not huge but they even incorporated a small sand dig inside and really cool fossils. Great people!

Loved this place, especially the shellfish fossils, they got a funky lil crab and some sick lobsters and nautilus. There was a great variety of types of fossils and info. I would rate their poster in the top 3 for the dino trail. Price for time spent was great too. I loved that all the dinos had names too. I'm not a huge dino nerd but I had a lot of fun.

This was a last minute decision. I'm so happy we stopped. Great for kids an adults. What I love the most, the ability for the young kids to touch and explore. Women running the museum is very kind.

Museum has very hands on exhibits and describes what has been discovered in the region well. Additionally, museum hosts digs in the summer where you can experience the process these scientists go through to extract a skeleton from the earth. My dad (70+), my daughter (11) and I did the dig for three days and really enjoyed it. It was run by the directors of two different museums and was as informative and as fun as I could have asked for.

Located on The Montana Dinosaur Trail. Small but very informative. Lots of real dinosaur exhibits. Staff was very knowledgeable. It is a working museum. Can tour it in about an hour.

Cary and the staff have done a great job bringing high quality paleo exhibits to this little town. If you are traveling along the Hi-line, you should stop and check it out.

A must-see! Many fascinating fossils that are well displayed with lots of stories and explanations. I was impressed with how thoroughly documented everything was with recent scientific publications. Highly recommended!

Certainly worth the stop. Amazing fossils and knowledgeable staff create an intimate and personal experience with some of the local dinosaur celebrities. My 2 and 6 year old loved it!

Although small, it is worth the visit. They have a nice collection of fossils, many of which were found relatively local.

Greatly enjoyed speaking with the Museum’s Paleontologist and the reception volunteer, a retired science teacher. Visited in 8/2019
