Enlightened is a brand I've been following since it's embryotic stage and as it blossoms continues to display growth and positive influence on the community. This store is such a breath of fresh air for someone like me sick of being styled by corporate America. To participate in the philanthropy done here at EMM while simultaneously contributing to a local business with an agenda I can get behind really reinforces why I want to wear the clothes I purchase here beyond the obvious shelf appeal. People conscious of are finally coming to shop here because the big box stores don't represent them; representation and style are growing more and more synonymous. Do the clothes you have on correspond with your values? Likely not. Does this local business? Easily, having seen the work they've done in this community and the vision they consistently continue to actualize.
