Outstanding place. Great food. Great price. Great people. I am from Mexico and traveled to many different states in the US. Have not found any better Mexican restaurant than this one. I strongly recommended!=D

Really a great little hideaway off beaten path! Definitely southwest authentic food. ..and well worth visiting. Wonderful service tops it off. And the prices are very reasonable. Give tgem a visit and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Always get great food and service at this restaurant on Main Street. Very clean and and the decor is nice down to the bathrooms. They do an excellent job.

We were 1st time patrons and I can't say enough good things about Don Jose's. The place was clean, the food was excellent, and the service was friendly and quick. We had chicken fajitas, tacos, wonderful salsa, warm chips and queso. Delicious!

Outstanding food, nice atmosphere & the staff was very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. The menu offers a great variety of options to choose from. The prices were quite fair, especially given the large portion sizes. The food was fresh & served hot. Our family ate here on a Sunday afternoon at around 3:30pm, & they weren't terribly busy (approx 5 parties there). We'll definitely be eating here again.

Stopped for the first time and had lunch with a coworker when we were in town. Large menu plus lunch specials. Great staff and service. Prices are good too. The food was outstanding. Don Jose Mexican Restaurant is my new favorite restaurant in Estherville. I will be back many times. Give this great local business a try.
