Washington Park

What a lovely little park! We stopped there for a picnic supper and thoroughly enjoyed a perfect, peaceful summer evening.

Went to view snow sculptures, they were amazibg.

Attended an event here and its s nice big park

Beautiful park!! In a quiet part of town. Easily accessible. Had to pay for parking (parking meters) in some areas close to the park.

Just a one block park in the middle of town. It has a small open pavilion in the center. It has the beautiful art deco main Post office on the south side and the Dubuque art museum one the north side. They set up a beautiful nativity scene for Christmas. Don't forget to walk around and read all the stone plaques.

Especially Fannie's BBQ. Beef tips, incredible!

Went to the lighting of the tree for hospice and it was a special ceremony with some very talented singers :)

Washington Park is a great choice for Food Truck Friday. Very pretty scenery. Excellent food & the music was very entertaining.

Located in the center of downtown Dubuque Washington Park should be a spot to see on your Dubuque sights checklist. The park is beautifully maintained and clean. The gazebo in the center is gorgeous to match the trees surrounding it. Plenty of benches to sit and take in the view or have a picnic or quick lunch. The park hosts different events from a craft fair to a chilli cook off to weddings. Be sure to stop at this long time Dubuque favorite.

This is a lovely city park with a gazebo, shade trees, some benches and picnic tables, historic markers for a church and time capsule, and views of some of the historic architecture in Dubuque (Town Clock, Courthouse, Roshek Building, Post Office, etc.). The Art Museum is on one end of the park. Dubuquefest is located here (arts and music festival) and it is the ending spot for the parades.

A nice park to relax in while you’re downtown. Not a big park, but plenty of places to sit and enjoy the greenery.

It is a park, with several recycling bins and trash cans. It also has grass and cement and benches. It has roads on all 4 sides and has signs designating it as a WI-FI Area. I forgot to mention there are also trees. If it is a plain old park you're looking for, this is one.

This is a beautiful park, petite but lovely. I mean it has a Gazebo. No playground equipment, nice walkways.

The park was very clean and it even has WiFi. Conveniently located in the middle of town and bus stop

They host the best Farmer's market. They have a bike coral at their events and they are close to everything.

Fun park with basketball court and right by the train tracks. Kids loved it!

Food truck Friday best idea ever! lots of shade and easy place to enjoy a picnic
