Briggs Woods Campground

A beautiful campground with a variety of sites and services just a few miles outside Webster City. It's definitely at the top of our list of favorites. They have both reserved spaces and first come for those last minute trips. We've been there in the spring, summer, and fall and the views are beautiful regardless of the time of year.

There are several different playground areas for the kids. They even have two separate camping circles for groups. All of the spaces have shade and are some of the most spacious we've found in Iowa. There truly is something for everyone.

One of my favorite parks. We were here through the week and it was pretty quiet at night. Caught a few fish in the lake, saw the falls and had a lot of fun. Excellent camp host.

Great price, peaceful stay, beautiful area. We arrived around 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening and easily found an electric-only site (#38) that was level and close to bathrooms, showers, and water. The park is clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful park with large RV sites. A large lake with walking trails. Fishing and swimming. Fire pits you can grill on at each site. Kathy was our camp host and she is the sweetest person, she made sure to stop and talk to us and answer any question we had. Super nice lady. Highly recommend this park. Prices very reasonable. We will be back.

Stayed for our first but not last time this weekend. So quiet and comfy. Would be perfect if the the pad for parking the campers on was a bit wider and grass was a little better taken care of. Other than that it's a great place to camp. We stayed in a full hookup spot and everything worked great.

Had our wedding at the Red Barn. It couldn't have been a more beautiful sight! The staff was so helpful! And photography options were plenty with such gorgeous lakeside views & treelined trails. Had the most magical day!

We totally enjoyed the campground. And we are coming back now on the 16th. We enjoy the whole campground and the waterfalls are so pretty. I like it because I have an Aunt and a cousin that live in Webster City. But the restrooms are clean and nice.

Need to make the sites at lease 6 foot wider so it's easier to get campers in spot. And move fire pits away from campers more so if there is a fire in it the don't catch yawnings on fire.. other wise nice camp ground. Need to fix the sewer pipes so there easier to see when backing in camp sites

Can't wait for an opportunity to visit again. Stayed in the Large cabin, was wonderful! Perfect for a large family or friends outing. Stayed there for a writing retreat offered by Learning Legacy. Very Impressed with the facility

Nice quiet area, great get away spot for the weekend or anytime. There's hiking trails, canoe/kayak rentals, 18 hole golf course, some events throughout the year. Worth a visit or just driving through to spend the day.

Where we camped there was 5 campers and we had all kinds of shade and there was a water hydrant close to us. The sight was clean and quiet. GREAT place

Best place to camp! So much to do and see. A great place to bring your family and your four legged friend.

Briggswoods is a beautiful park with a very nice peaceful lake, lots of Boy Scout Eagle projects to check out as well.

I love this campground, with full hookup, can't wait to go back, there is lots of room, and lots to do! Fishing, swimming, camp for solitude, or park for a family or friend's weekend!

Amazing and fun! The cabins are so great (except the tv didn't work for the kids) and we have so much fun just relaxing and being outside.

Well been here for about a week now working in the area Nice Part quiet if you want camp in the same area as others for Community type feeling I enjoy the area beautiful scenery nice campsite I will keep you posted

Very nice park whith lots of trees many old growth trees well kept up and the camp hosts were very friendly and helpful .

Spacious campsites, nice firepits, clean restroom and shower facilities. The site we visited as full hook-ups...water, electricity, and sewer.
